Avatars, ability to post attachments, ability to manage your cp settings, multiple quotes, etc. Also there will be full management for mods. I'll do a full list when the apps launch

It's cool to have an app. My guess is..

-Better usage of screen real estate on a mobile device since the app caters to the iPhone

-Ability to show avatars
-Text wraps correctly
-Full screen ability (Safari on iPhone is quite limiting on RS mobile)

i'd fork out the $1 for the app or if its free with ad support, im fine too.

however, i like the way the mobile site as it is. everything is stripped and loads fast. with the app, wouldn't avatars clutter it up and increase loading time? maybe add an option to disable avatars and sigs from displaying.

I dev iOS and android at work, so let me know if you need help, or an SVN repo, or just bug fixing or something.

Just use a browser that identifies itself as a desktop version. It will eat up more of your 3G bandwidth (avatars,banners,ads) but basically you can work with the forums as if you are on your pc/mac.

hey will the app have the thanks/fail feature as well? i hope so

i'd buy both the android and the ios one.

I don't have problem paying a dollar for RS app. How about just make paid and ad free version and let the people who don't wish to pay 1-freaking dollar load the full version (yes, no mobile version... I mean, it sucked... I always navigate in full mode)

I'd rather that the app be free and supported by ads, just like how the current board is..

Have to work out some kinks first, but soon! Android at least will probably be ready by next week. I'm not sure how long submissions take to get approved though.

i would pay 0.99cent but if its + tax = 1.11 nahhhhh no thanks.
