size 48 & 50 CCM jersey is considered LARGE or XL?

also, cheapest place to grab an Edler jersey? whatever method works, either blank jersey from somewhere and stitching somewhere else. dont care.

TIA

Which CCM jerseys are you looking at? Whenever I hear 48, 50, and CCM I think of potential fakes.

would the london drugs frame be a good deal with an 18% discount?

Mike Oxbig 02-01-2012 01:15 PM

I have a Canucks 40th anniversary patch and i went to the Canucks team store to see if it was authentic. It was!
My question for you guys is, do any of you know where i can find the white alternate jersey they had last year?

TheKingdom2000 02-01-2012 01:23 PM

It was with Rocky Mountain Sports right?

Anyone have the info on it?
Because i'm sure we can get the ball rolling on it.

I'm 100% sure your patch is fake. The patch was never sold seperately on its own, it was only sold with the 40th anniversary premier jersey.

The people at the Canucks store are taught to sell. They're not taught to authenticate whether a jersey/patch is real or not. Just because one of them says "its real", doesn't mean it is.

I authenticated myself and the sales person claimed it was a fake until i told him to look at it stitch to stitch. That was when he got furious because it was identical, asking how i got it because reebok werent allowed to sell it else where. Unless it was factor stitched on the jerseys they have exclusively at the team store.

Mike Oxbig 02-01-2012 04:00 PM

You be the judge :)

Eh.. the angle you posted it at is hard to tell

Where'd you get it anyways? Did you find a 40th anny jersey and cut it off :lol

Group deal wasn't that good of a deal IMO..save $18 to go through all the hassle and flakers :ilied:

HonestTea 02-01-2012 05:27 PM

The first group buy went pretty smooth :)

mickz 02-01-2012 06:48 PM

That 40th patch is inconsistent with the one on my team issued 40th jersey.

The embroidery and the finishing on the edges look too sloppy.

Mike Oxbig 02-01-2012 07:03 PM

Edges look sloppy maybe thats why i got a hold of one ;)
In the end its still authentic from reebok...

mickz 02-01-2012 07:10 PM

The "1970 - 2010" embroidery still looks off. The font looks a bit bigger than mine and there shouldn't be threads connecting each digit. On mine the numbers are thinner and more crisp looking.

Also, why would you get these from Reebok? They never had anything to do with the patches.

Mike Oxbig 02-01-2012 07:37 PM

They were assigned to stitch on the 40th anniversary patches for the Canucks team store exclusively. For you to say threads shouldn't be connecting is just ignorant because if you have worked at a stitching factory or have knowledge in that field you will know that tiny details like that must have connecting threads. Patches are sewed on by machines generated by computers. There were threads connecting on the digits when i went to verify, everything was identical including threads and lining. There's really no point arguing because this patch is truly one of a kind. :)

mickz 02-01-2012 07:43 PM

^^ What's even more ignorant is Reebok DIDN'T stitch these on. Go call the Canucks Team Store and ask. I know this for a fact, not hearsay or anything.

Mike Oxbig 02-01-2012 07:48 PM

Still going at it? Man, you've got a heart of a lion!

We live in an economy where money is a factor nowadays... the one i have posted above did not make it to standard because the boarder were cut too thin. Simple as that. They were gonna throw these away but insiders whoever it was decided to pick these out from the irregular pile and make some $$$.

mickz 02-01-2012 07:56 PM

http://prostocknation.files.wordpres...mickz_40th.jpg

Border cut too thin? Whoever sold that to you and gave you these "facts" seems a bit misinformed.

jeedee 02-01-2012 08:06 PM

lol Big Earl. No point in arguing with mickz. He REALLY knows his jerseys.

Mike Oxbig 02-01-2012 08:14 PM

Threads used are the exact same compared to the third jersey logo. I've already checked the patch they had on the jersey today and i was very scientific about it too. They're identical. Its ok :)
Let's not GET MAD over a silly canucks patch.
