made an imperial. lvl 3 just now. gameplay is awesome and i'm loving it

graphics are amazing !!

No not at all. DA is quite linear, with a few divergent paths. ES is COMPLETELY open. Like the complete opposite of a jrpg

i was trying to get all the quests too.. i should give up now.

I torched a cow in the middle of the night and got a 50 gold bounty, then everyone tried to kill me :( Had to go to the next town to pay it off.

So cool!! I'm not sure if I picked the right race anymore. I usually play thief, but it really seems like any race can do anything in this game. Maybe I should have picked something stronger?

Is it just me or did the graphics look better in the promotional videos than in the actual game ?

I'm rocking Ultra detail, 16x AA (4x Adaptive Multi-Sample, Edge Detect, Morphilogical), 16x AF @ 1920x1200 and it really doesn't look that spectacular compared to some of the more recent games.

hard to get used to the controls, having to use the keyboard and npt mouse when going through inventory etc

No problems at all. The interface is awful, though. You need to click on the arrows, IIRC.

Nice! Thought i'd be the only one lol they seem like such an unpopular race

The copy I pirated wasn't working on the build I made, so I ended up just getting the PS3 version. I wasn't sure if the problems were due to piracy or something else, so I didn't want to risk it.

Sucks though, I REALLY wanted better graphics. It looks decent enough on PS3 but the framerate is horrible.

This is one game my wife likes to play along with me. Played about 3 or 4 hours yesterday, and all we really accomplished was one dungeon run and a mine :lol
