maybe try to arrow them, I got ambushed from behind by a dragon once. they seem to get easily distracted by other wildlife and other mobs though. seeing an aurora for the first time is amazing, you just want to stare at it instead of keep questing. two handed warrior is OP, lvl 29 and trolls can get two shotted, humanoid mobs usually one shotted unless blocking Posted via RS Mobile |
I'm level 26 and still have only done one quest on the main storyline :fuckthatshit: |
Yeah i tried shooting them on numerous occasions but never do they fight me. Are their level limits too these random dragon fights? im only lvl 11 but finshed lots of the story. |

Level 10 orc with 1h and heavy armor now... I wish I made a claw khajit with heavy armor instead now... lol |
When you get so much armor that physical atks do nothing, just go up to a giant and his mammoth and just tank them until block and armor is lvl 100. Sat there watching myself get hit for like 20 mins Posted via RS Mobile |

I think I'm going to join up with the Legion just because Ulfric seems like a douche. Archery + Spellcasting + Sneak = Gamebreaking Poison your arrow with Potent Aversion to (insert type of destruction spell you're going to use), nail the guy for a sneak attack w/ your arrow, and then unload spells on him (if you have 70+ sneak, he probably won't even be able to find you until you've already hit him with 1-2 spells and, of course, with the required perk, they remain staggered every time you hit them w/ a dual-casted spell, so they can't even do anything to you). Once he's hit with aversion, you can waste bosses with even apprentice level spells and it's especially useful on conjurers, since they can't conjure anything while they're staggered. |
I'm lvl 36 and killed at least 7-8 dragons I lost track. I'm not really specializing in any one weapon, my two handed, one handed and archery are all up there. I have 100 smithing so I just make my own armor, I've made a full set of Dragon plate, can make daedric armor but haven't found Daedric hearts which is one of the items needed. My smithing probably gained me like 6 or 7 levels alone. It's a fun game, to bad I'm going to leave town before I can finish it. |
Married Aela the Huntress, now we can go do werewolf on werewolf doggy style. No point in marrying Lydia your housecarl, since she is already your slave bound to your house. It's really awesome how you can travel with the wife and sell stuff to her since she's just a portable store. |
playing on PC and it keeps crasihng right after i name my character and the dragon lands on the tower. running gtx 460. intel i5 2.67 ghz 4gigs ram just updated latest driver. nvidia website checker says im good to go for skryim |

I'm rocking a full heavy steel armor legendary set rated at 430 atm and I'm curious how good the higher-tier ones are |

you need a full set of Tough Guy armor to match with higher tier ones....:troll: |
Just picked up 14 full sets of glass armor from a fort *drool* Time to start smithing and enchanting ... |
For random dragon encounter, I just run to nearest town.. and then get dragon to land on the ground. Then once you start meleeing it, the dragon will get surrounded by guard (if any) And I just bash with shield melee.. and repeat..!! Seems to be faster/easier than just firing arrow, That is if you invest some point into shield blocking !! Dragon seems melee you if you're in open area and have melee weapon out..not 100% sure |
for me the dragons only land after you get them down to 30% or so Posted via RS Mobile |
yeah encoutered my first non story dragon yesterday. in fact i found around 5 yesterday. they just keep comming now. dont have enough dragon words to use their souls tho. And yeah always go to a open field so the dragon lands Posted via RS Mobile |

One cool thing that happened, I was just walking to a town on my horse, and while looking down I saw the shadow of a dragon go over me. That was pretty awesome. I found him and killed him :fuckyea: |
Boo, accidentally did first dragon quest in Whiterun ... Crippled it and let my horse track it down and fuck it up :) I love Shadowmere ... Horse that doesn't take damage = win |
