Just bought this game yesterday, and its super fun. Couple of things you might not want to do though.

You've contracted vampirism (I assume you already know that). Do yourself a favour and get your disease healed at the nearest shrine before you fully convert. Once you convert, it's a gigantic pain in the ass to get rid of vampirism.

So what happens if you start killing all the guards and stuff. The entire town has a bounty on your head....
meaning you can't go to the town anymore?

Final verdict: Would use Perfect Touch perk on her and talk to her while wearing Amulet of Mara.

Renxo 11-17-2011 12:01 AM

so you would marry her without seeing her face?

Perfect Touch perk allows you to Pickpocket equipped items (i.e. helmet, armor). You can also miss the wedding to not marry her.

After visiting the greybeards I went straight to do the Thieves Guild missions. So fun going around robbing people :fullofwin:

Played Khajit until level 8, then started a new Orc... I am starting to like being more durable and stronger.

In the 'heist job' from Vex, how do you get the shopkeep from following you? I crouch and he already gets suspicious and follows me around everywhere :fuuuuu:

Glove 11-17-2011 02:12 PM

why would you cheat in a game like this?

only rob yourself of the experience

Rich Sandor 11-17-2011 02:35 PM

TCM is toggle clipping which lets you fly around like superman, and through walls and shit.

TGM is god mode, makes you invincible, but more importantly gives infinite stamina and carrying ability.

I admit, I caved and turned on TGM last night. I was looting the Dwemer ruins and those freaking Dwemer bars are 25lbs each. Theres no fucking way I'm going to spend 3 hours running back and forth carrying those stupid things to the blacksmith.. so I turned on TGM and just picked up every piece of smeltable Dwemer shit that I could find.

I think I weighed in at 5000lbs when I got back to the blacksmith forge. LOL.

It's not really cheating since I clear the dungeon first, then go back to pick it all up afterwards, and then turn it off once I've stored it all somewhere safe.

FYI, the horsecarriages cannot fast travel with you if you are THAT overweight.

Rich Sandor 11-17-2011 02:37 PM

The other thing that annoys me is that all the retailers are too low on gold. I'm carrying around a bunch of shit because no one has any money left to buy it.

The only reason I ever cheat in games is when I find myself to be too addicted and want to just wreck the thing and get on with my real life.

I'm not going to cheat in Skyrim... for a while :D

I just got ambushed by a dragon. So badass.

ShadowBun 11-17-2011 04:20 PM

same
then i killed it

Rich Sandor 11-17-2011 05:32 PM

I'm finding it a little easy to kill the dragons with just a bow & arrows. I'm also a little miffed that sometimes the gaurds lands the finishing blow. I kinda wish that ONLY the dragonborn would be able to kill the dragons.

I keep forgetting to use the Thu'um abilities.. so many times I could have pushed someone off a ledge with it instead of hacking and slashing.
