Ok here it is...finished building yesterday. XFX didn't give any Crossfire bridge which is stupid. Waiting on the NZXT sleeved power supply cable adapter for a more cleaner look. ALSO THIS RIG IS FOR SALE!!! Reasons for selling: 1) I read this forum and wanted to see what I could come up with for a more AESTHETIC looking computer. Dead serious. All black does look pretty sick. 2) And now I'm finished building it (not caring about looks) I want the ASUS P8Z68-V Pro Z68 mobo for the 3-way SLi support. I have 2 6870's in xfire (better performance) but I'd rather go 2x or 3x GTX560 in SLi for the better drivers. http://i.imgur.com/A0JHL.jpg http://i.imgur.com/sU3Uh.jpg |
nice looking rig. I have a very similar setup with the same case. Is that the Corsair H80 or H100 that you top mounted? |
Thanks man. It's an H100. Prefered that compared to the single fan setup Posted via RS Mobile |
After going through this thread I'm tempted to build a new rig  http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...DSC03141-1.jpg This pic was taken a couple of years ago. Only difference is I swapped all case fans for Yate Loons, popped in a 2TB HD and switched my E8400 for a Q9550. Case is a CM 690. I think I did an OKAY job with the cable management :lol Might have to spoil myself this christmas :concentrate: |

@dealt Wanna trade with my parts and I add cash? :D Interested in the AX750 and H100. I have Antec TP650 (Modular) and H70 for partial trade. |
Really admire the builds you guys have here, they look amazing. Wish I had the money to invest on a nicer case and better mobo/cpu, but this is what I have: http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...30824949_n.jpg |
Dealt, Can you show me more of that coffee table? |

Sorry but won't be selling/trading the parts :( Those were the 2 parts I mainly built it around because the AX750 had all black modular cables and the H100 hid perfectly in the 650d case, leaving the mobo more exposed. |

This thread is contagious....... That's how I got lured in. That damn 600T case got me started. |
Operation HoboDesk™ almost complete. - bought $6 slab of wood-like material from IKEA as-is -bought 4x $5 VIKA CURRY table legs -found out sheet of 'wood' was cheap for a reason, its a hollow (in most places) headboard for a MALM bedframe -take thin but incredibly dense wooden-fibre desktop from old disassembled desk -use that to strengthen top sheet of wood and provide mounting place for legs I estimate the weight to be around 60 pounds. LOL. Makes my 27" monitor look tiny. http://img802.imageshack.us/img802/8893/desk1d.jpg Now I'm just looking for a dollar store multi-coat hanger (ones that hook onto the top of doors). After I play with the brackets a bit I'll mount that to the underside of the desk , so I can do cable mgmt later with the surge protectors etc. |

Uhh.. Why is your subwoofer on your desk?? Quote:

More importantly. Why is there a box of kleenex on your desk? :troll: |
ikea as-is table top ftw...you save so much money and you can't beat the quality for the bang for buck |
I have had 3 ikea table tops and they all suck |

Every as-is item I've bought is damaged in ways that I would probably end up damaging myself if I had gotten it new. |

We need a mod to fix the thread title to have a warning. :lol |
