On CBC they had footage of a Bruins fan taunting all the Canucks fans around him... bad idea. He initiated contact, pushing some old (non thug) guy almost knocking him over. Then 2 or 3 people jumped him and started beating the shit out of him.

Not a drinker either but drinking alcohol just impairs judgement and can easily lead to fighting. Look at any wild houseparties or some of the Celebration of Lights.
