From my understanding, the guy who fell was a fan (non Boston) who tried to jump over the ledge to cut the crowd. Kinda like parkour, I guess. He missed, fell onto the metal sides and rolled down to the bottom plaza.

The Boston fan, supposedly who just passed away at St. Paul's Hospital, was supposedly taunting an older gentleman and got his butt beat. RIP.

Isn't it supposed to disperse crowds by emitting annoying sounds? I was at homer and georgia watching the game and then saw some of the rioting. There were about a dozen cops right after the game by BMO. Then they all ran off down an alley and everything started getting smashed. Not an officer in sight for a good 15mins after that.

I feel sorry if anyone was in a porta potty when they were tipped over. Saw a pregnant chick smashing windows too. A rubber bullet would knock some sense into her.

I saw one guy try to intervene and got knocked out by one of the rioters. Absolute Neanderthals. I have no sympathy for anyone who got abused by vpd. There was plenty of time to leave the immediate area safely without confrontation.

There's some idiot on the radio who called in and said the rioters should have done more damage because the caller said the riot is for the bike lanes and higher taxes the city has imposed, like seriously WTF.

There was footage on CBC of a Boston fan with a bloody lip and he was going around pushing random people including some older guy before getting tackled by Genesis security guards, I wonder if it's the same person but CBC made no mention that he was injured.

alking out onto Granville Street, the first thing I saw was smoke in the air.. I knew shit was up so I walked towards the area.

Got to Georgia & Seymour and went up top the parking lot, where I stayed for an hour and watched everything unfold. Cops later came and threatened us that if we didn't leave they'd send the dogs after us. While I'm all for getting things under control, I can't agree with this method..
