I think this girl was seriously injured because I'm pretty sure I saw footage of the same girl on CBC which showed a cop holding her up and calling for help.
I hope not.
otherwise this would be evidence of rape or molesting.
what happened there was a human rights violation. cbc extensively covered that event with a documentary harshly criticizing the action police officers took during the event. old people dragged through the streets, people sitting on the ground in a lawful assembly getting riot shields to the face and the largest mass arrest in canadian history with no warrants or evidence to support why the arrests where made. that wasn't even a riot, it was a political march that the police targeted while the riot down the street went unattended for a very long time.
we all have the right to peiceful protest, what happened at the g20 was wrong and illegal buy the police force.
i thank the vancouver police for showing a lot of restraint and handling the riot in a respectful manor, with plenty of time for responsible people to leave.
I won't get into that with you as I actually worked for G20.. though I did get harassed by cops as well on my off day when I went walking around town when the marches & riots happened.
That said, many cops tonight just stood there as windows and fights broke out in front of them. They did not have the man power to deal with everything tonight for sure.
So you are absolutely sure that the person in that picture is the same person with the FB account?
No.
but it doesn't matter whoever Jason Li is. that dude posted his info online and allowed public to access it. Either way, it's not an invasion of his privacy.
I don't condone harassment or any of such behavior, but just simply stating that it's not an invasion of his privacy.

None of this was a peaceful protest.
But the cops did a good job. I walked up to almost every line of riot shields, asking officers questions politely on where I can go and how to get where because of the closed streets. For the most part there were friendly. I almost shat my pants once because I asked one if I could go past the line, just around the corner because I couldn't find another way around. He grabbed my arm without saying anything and pulled me forward. At that point, I was thinking "Oh shit, what did I do?" but he just told me to go.
I stood around with a couple of cops near the library watching a marching line of riot geared police pass in front of me. I asked if I could take a picture...one of them heard me, turned around and posed, smiling.
No, I don't have a picture but my friend some video.
I think the scariest was right outside that swimsuit store on Granville. At the last second, I saw this giant thing flying at my face. I was like "OH SHIT!", pushed my friend away too and ducked. Thing just grazed my hair.
It was a mannequin torso. LOL wouldn't have killed me but fuck it would've hurt if it smashed me in the face.
@skinny
looked like he punched some old dude, then got KTFO buy a security guard
Boston guy randomly came cover and punched my manager (older guy in blue) for no reason at all, then the head bouncer got him pretty crazy.
I was working at shark club all night
MSNBC's "way too early" show just showed the Bruins winning the cup followed by showing the riots in Vancouver with the caption "Vancouver riot, eh?" and saying "it's like Athens up there" referring to the rioting in Athens today.
at ronin, no you're right none of what happened tonight was lawful protest. that's not what i said. i was replying to some one who wrote that they wished the vancouver police acted the same way the toronto ploice did for the g20.
I don't know how many people walk around with masks and shit on, especially not too long after a hockey game. Clearly it's those shit starters from the olympics. Youtube video is excellent.
ps. that asian guy, what the fuck, people break the windows and hes like a rat going for the merchandise.

Im sure vast amounts of 20 y/o's getting beat by their parents will smarten up and not riot ever again....
Yea fucken right buddy. Take a psych intro class please.
obviously beating a 20 y/o wont accomplish anything, thats why your suppose to get them while they are young. not to pull the race card but I saw a lot more caucasian males causing havoc than any other race combined. but its not to say that there weren't indians and asians causing trouble, just quite a bit less of them. imo
I went up to a cute chick and asked her if she'd let me take a photo of her for $30 she slapped me, she said to me that "I AIN'T A WHORE!"
But other than that I have seen every car on display in DTP just by cruising about in Richmond, thank you very much for collecting them together and get someone to sing a cover for "fuck you".
OH FUCK YOU OH OH OOOOH~
