I almost wish Lu would lose the number one spot just so another goalie can come in, "fail" under the scrutiny of most Canucks fans and only then would they realize what they had in him...
Vezina finalists are a dime a dozen ya know.
Best record over the past 5 years? Only because of the team in front of him my friend!
Taking over for Brodeur and winning Olympic Gold? Bah! That team would have won with anyone in net!
I'm not saying Lu is perfect, he's not. Point is, no goalie is. He's had a long, stellar career as a #1 goaltender. I was ultra stoked when I heard we acquired him. I'm sure many of you were. I knew with a goalie like Lu we'd have a great chance at the cup. Almost happened last year and I'm confident it will before he's gone. Posted via RS Mobile | |
