This is one small area that I miss with the current Nuck's team. So far Weise has looked horrible in all his fights. Volpatti hasn't looked that much better either. Only Bieska has held his own in a fight.

I do miss the RR in that aspect.

^its funny i was thinking the exact same thing today. RR could of easily filled that void. I dont really mind Volpatti, he will drop the gloves anytime and will atleast win a couple, and hits. The stupid part was they gave a PTO contract to Todd Fedoruk and as someone who has made a career of being a heavy weight fighter, he only fought 3 times in the preseason and loosing all three fights pretty badly.
Glad the Nucks didn't sign him to a contract.

they don't have any other goalie at the nhl caliber ready to play to replace mason. they are pretty much forced to throw mason back in net every night. and he continues to play like garbage. i feel pretty bad for them. although the team in general is playing shitty, i would still put the majority of the fault on mason.
