Man those 'Page of Blacksmithing's are hard to find!

anyone completed a timed dungeon event? i encountered one in act 2 but too weak to finish it lol...the NPC made it sound so good that there was a treasure vault..

they're actually not that hard.
found a bunch in the first act in nightmare. bunch of random monster drops

Definitely not overheating. Lots of airflow in my case, and temps don't reach over 60c.
Apparently so... I swapped in a set of G.Skill RAM I had instead of the current Corsair set I was using and everything is a-ok now... :failed:

I just found my first timed dungeon in nightmare, i couldnt complete it tho :( but I did find a nice shiv.. doing 899 dps on my barb no buffs now

finally gonna go buy the game today. Is it still the same as D2 to find unique and rare items? or is it more on crafting now? How do you know which weapon is good for each class not by just looking at the colors?

how long did it take u to get to lvl 32? whats the lvl cap now anyways? 60 or 65?

Ohh... I was trying to figure out what that Option was for ... this will be useful when I get home to play. I didn't like any of the default 'Right-Click' skills for the Monk, I just put it on "Wave of Light" although I never use it, too much Spirit drain and not effective enough. Good to know I can set another skill on it now!

How do you guys find so much time to play lol I've only logged about 8 hours so far - Level 20 Monk, middle of Act II. Don't you guys have school/work ... sleep? :ahwow:

Also my friend told me to not buy anything from the Merchants as they usually only have medicore stuff. I'm supposed to save my Gold to upgrade the Blacksmith?... damn it's so expensive, I've only got him to Level 2 so far. Then I basically spent all my Gold so I can barely afford to buy anything he crafts after all the Upgrades lol ... are the stuff he crafts really that good?... wouldn't random drops from special mobs be better?

What's everyone's hero right now? I'm quite enjoying the Monk, dash in, pummel monsters to pulp, walk away like a badass lol ... double-fisting 2 spiked gloves right now.
I think I will try the Witch Doctor or Demon Hunter next, but I can't imagine finding that much time for myself to level up so many heroes ... I'm already super behind with just 1 hero! ... a lot of my friends on my Social list are already Level 35+ ... and I read on some other forums there are people who already MAXED out 2-3 heroes ... WTF must have played 72 hours straight ... nerdism power over 9000!!!

just killed the skeleton king as a wizard and he droped a yellow knife, which after 'identifying it' turns out to only be useable by a witch doctor.

did he drop the same yellow item for everyone else? or is it luck of the draw whether you get a yellow your class can use or not?

No, it's completely different items for everyone. I was playing with my brother and when we killed a Unique mob, it dropped TWO Yellow items for him and I got a bunch of crappy Blue ones.

It was pretty funny because in the beginning I didn't know about this either and when we killed a monster and it dropped a big magical axe; I told my friend (Barbarian) to pick it up, and he's like all confused like "what are you talking about? what axe?" ... didn't realize he couldn't see it because it was my drop :okay: ... so I had to pick it up, and throw it back down for him.

At this rate all my friends are gonna be way higher level than me and I'll be foreveralone :alone: ... I have to work 50+ hours a week so not much time to game... maybe that's why I don't really play any MMORPG's ...

@Obsideon: The Blacksmith, once fully leveled will actually be the only way to get certain rare and legendary items. He crafts items with random properties, which effectively makes it equally possible for great items to come from him vs drops.

@wreckless: Each player has their own random drops. There may be *some* cases where you're guaranteed a class-specific rare, but generally everything is random, and different items drop for each player.

How's everyone liking their heroes right now? Was there any specific reason you guys chose what you did?

My bro chose Wizard but now he wants to change to Barb but he doesn't want to give up the 10+ hours he put in lol ...
I'm content with my dual-wielding warrior Monk right now ... good balance of offense/defense, good buffs and healing ability. I haven't had a chance to try any other heroes yet except DH for about 20 minutes.

^ I feel the same. The wizard is said to be the strongest character, but it is by far the weakest from my experience and what other people have been saying. I always end up dying and my spells do less damage than a lower level melee class. It's pretty ridiculous. This might change when wizards start getting godly equipment, but I'm sure there will be a patch in the future buffing the wizard. A lot of people are complaining on forums about wizards being unable to solo nightmare+.

Been playing wizard currently level 37, just started act 2 nightmare. Been soloing prety smoothly, died here and there sometimes when i get ambushed/trapped. My friend using a barb is having trouble soloing nightmare act 1 with his barb though. He's level 34, any tips?

so technically, since i just finished killing him.. i could go to main screen, 'change quest' and do it over again, in hopes of a diff drop?

I feel so weak looking at peoples DPS I am at level 38 and dps below 300

compared to 3klipse 1000!
