During the fair i believe you can use Hastings racecourse cards to get into the fair. But that doesn't cover rides though. Just the shows.

haha i went with 2 of my cousins last summer, since it was the 100 year anniversary, they were giving out ps3's for the "big prizes".

we got to that game and me and 1 cousin took the 2 very end guns while my other cousin took the gun at the other end of the table....and he pretended to be having problems with it not shooting, so while the attendant was helping him, me and my other cousin were shooting out the same star :p but we got caught hahahaha, maybe we'll have better luck this year :p

So we were going to go to Playland tonight... got all ready to go, then hopped on the website to see what time they close... 7 PM!?!? WTF! The latest they EVER close is 8pm, that's ridiculous! What about all the people who work till 5 and then want to go for a date after work? Seems like ridiculously short sighted management to me.

ptrinh 08-03-2011 10:24 PM

The trick to the ladder game is,tell the person who is running the game to not hold the ladder for you when you begin. There is a reason behind it.

If you try without the person holding the ladder for you during the first few steps going up the ladder, your body will balance itself each step of the way,but if you have the person hold the ladder for you,you will lose all balance the second he/she takes their hands off the ladder, then off you fall. Also when climbing the ladder, spread your arms and legs out for more stability, move up the ladder doing a sequence, like right arm+left leg then left arm+right leg.

The people who are working that ladder game make it look SO fucking easy and they never fall

Gh0stRider 08-04-2011 07:19 AM

Anyone know about free passes (during PNE) through the casinos or using Gold Cards?

Hastings Racecourse players will be allowed to enter the grounds through gates 6 and 10 with their HPI (Horse Player Interactive/ Incentive) cards.

VIP guests from the Casino needs to get passes from the Casino for the fair.

Hope this helps!

IIRC trick for ladder game is don't use the rungs, use the actual ropes instead. if that made any sense...

It's "the Beat Tuesdays" where the cost to get in is 9.45+ tax

Hawflakes03 08-04-2011 10:41 PM

Killarney Community Centre was selling the passes for $25 which includes taxes. I thought that was a pretty good deal only cause I paid full price last time when I purchased @ the gates. =(
