I'll be working at the PNE again so let me know if you want discount tickets. |
Which game is the easiest to get a jumbo prize on an individual play? |
Every year I win something from Crossbow. Use the third bow from the left, the sights are most accurate on that one. Fire once, compensate once, maybe twice. If you have any aim you can win one in $15. The more expensive ones are easier to win. Cheaper ones are harder. They're there to take your money. For example, I was there all day last Saturday, and the ring toss game ($5 for a bucket of rings) had one winner the entire day. |
has anyone ever actually won the ring toss game? |

Anyone know if the bowling ball game is there this year? The one where it's on rails and you have to push it over an incline and into a valley, w/ it coming back or hitting the back? I usually win enough stuffies for all the nieces and nephews for under $30, before getting banned from it. |

If you're a decent pool player...the 4 ball pool game is quite easy. Too bad you cant win jumbo sizes anymore cause every good pool player was abusing it haha...only large size now for $10 a try. Trick with 4 ball pool is to break gently so that all 4 balls are close together. After the break you should already know which course of action you'll need to win. The 2 top corners give you the desired distance and angle...side pockets and 2 lower corners means your break was too hard...making it more difficult....stay away from side pockets! I suggest you play a couple $2 games to get a feel of the table and stick before you bet $10 or practice at a pool hall and test yourself first. They nerfed the prizes...so it's up to you if you think it's worth it. |
I said it last year, and Ill say it again. Whack-a-mole is the easiest game there if u have quick hand/eye coordination. And always wait till 9 other players are there, and be the 10th. Best prices for your buck. |

Spent a solid $15 on the shoot out the star thing too. A friend told me it's best to shoot around the star instead of right at it. I was so close but some of the shreds were hanging on by just a hair :okay: |
^Some chick was there beside me and she shot completely off the target, even missed the rice sack holding the target. The attendant kid was so terrified that he went completely white. He was filipino too hahaha |
Idk something about winning the prize for a gf or a friend just makes it feel so exhilerating than buying it for $20. Just me but I mean I would really buy it if I got desperate and go to gf and be like "hey babe, I just won this for you but you just didn't see it :troll:" |
Play the birthday game and all the months, seasons 100% win chance! |
just a little heads up for those going to the pne this year. The 22nd is Van city day which means fair admission is only $5 throughout. Children under 13 get in for free as always and just a tip for some of the parents; never buy tickets. Those eventually cost more than buying ride passes. |
Isn't 20th free as well? |
The Ex just got PNE and full ride tickets for $48.75, is that a good deal? I havent been in 10years. |

Entrance to PNE with rides are NEVER a good deal. The rides will always be packed during the fair period. Best is to go pre or post fair for rides and the fair just for shows and shit. I went to PNE a couple of weeks ago on a weekday and line ups were hardly any. All under 5 minutes before 12 noon and under 10 minutes later in the day (even for the hellavator) |
