			1.
being a chain smoker, i find the anti-cigarettes policies are getting ridiculous.
there is not enough protection for smokers, when it rains, we are expected to smoke under the rain.
2.
working in customer service for a long time, i realize there are always people (especially in vancouver) making a fuzz over discount that they are not eligible for. they would bitch at you and force you to call your manager, when your manager comes, they changed face and stop bitching but still ask for 5% discount. your manager look at you like a dumbfcuk.
and no, the customers are not asian. /rant

majority of the Vancouver youths/young adults are spoiled. This is partially due to the expensive real estate. I'm not saying to grow up you MUST move out but too many get comfortable from driving their parents car, getting their bills paid, working at some dead-end job while taking a class or two there while still trying to figure out what they wanna do for the rest of their life when they are well into their late 20's.
This is not limited to a particular race, but I see many Westernized Asians fall into this pattern.

what really pisses me off are cyclists using the middle of the road lane when there is a bike lane right there!
when there isn't a bike lane then i can understand them using the road lane, but at least move to the side so the cars can pass you instead of holding up traffic
also, when there is a red light, i have had some cyclists put there hand on my car to lean on, wtf!

I hate how they time the streetlights. The only ones they have dont properly are on Dunsmuir. Heading north into downtown if you want to hit every green light you have to go 30. And I can't go fast enough to get to the next intersection before that light turns red.
Prime example is 12th ave and Broadway and then Main. Try it. At 12th you get a green for 15 secs and then it's red for over a minute. Broadway will turn red just before you get there. While you wait at Broadway the light at Main turns green. As soon as you get the green the light at Main turns red.
It's like we pay these city planners and they screw us over on purpose.

^ yes I spend a lot of gas idling at red lights waiting for no cars to pass by. Coincidentally the highest gas prices in Canada.

My biggest gripe about Vancouver is that it's filled with spineless, inept sheeple. Society in this part of the world coddles the weak and punishes the competent. The average IQ of Vancouver residents feels like it's about 75, and it drives me fucking crazy. The provincial government is one of the worst offenders.

One of my biggest gripes are smokers that insist on standing in the covered shelter with everybody else when it's a rainy day. It's like hot boxing the rest of us in cigarette smoke. P.S. It's illegal and inconsiderate.
I don't expect the city to enable a smoker's choice by providing you shelter. I expect you to find your own. If you were smart, you'd carry around an umbrella.
Cigs are a bad for the environment, butts take forever to break down. Smokers have a track record of just not giving a crap and tossing them on the ground wherever they are or just out the car. Why should my tax dollar go towards building you protection? Quote:

I also know some mouthy ones that end up moving out. Most asians you see have a certain amount of "stfu" when it comes to their parents. Lols, not me though. I moved out once I was able.
I don't think it's so much a race thing, it's because the culture doesn't actively encourage obedience.

			1) gay speed limit
what are we? living in the 70s?
2) go green mayors with their lame bike lanes
3) real estate is a joke
4) taxes and everything is expensive
5) transit is overpriced and a fucked up system.
you take one station and it costs you one zone, you may travel 5-8 stations and it cost you the same. Wat the fuck?
did i mention that they are always late? and if they are late they choose not to come until the next time zone comes.
