Jobs Avaliable for teens

I'm tired of working in fast food. I was just wondering what jobs are available for teens or someone 15 - 16 years old. Other than fast food and retail stores?

Pretty much yea. Some dealerships hire people to update their online ads like craigslist/buysell. Involves taking pictures of the cars and posting all the info online.

It's not hard to find a job. You just need to be willing and go the extra mile to find it. And not picky either

There are tons of jobs out there for someone your age. It's the right time of the year since a lot of people quit their temporary summer job in order to go back to school, so I know of quite a few places that are hiring. Just wander around town for a few days with a stack of resumes and hand 'em into places where you think you'd enjoy working.

From my personal experience:

Sportchek - Work at a slow store and it can be fun. When it gets busy, it gets horribly busy. You'll be running around and sweating your ass off! However, I met a lot of cool people working at sportchek many of which I still talk to. Also, the discount was bad-ass!

Safeway - unionized. Good pay, good benefits, really slack. Try to become a general clerk/stock boy. They can't tell you to work faster, and they can't fire you unless you're caught stealing/doing something else really stupid. If you're late/misbehaving they write you up. Gotta get written up like 5x for termination and most managers are too lazy to write you up so they just give verbal warnings lol. I loved it except for the uniform/dress code. Must be clean shaven = gay.

get your feet wet at a restaurant - cactus/earls/mox. It's tough at the start but once you get the hang of it its easy pickings. Prob start at $9-11/hour plus you usually get $2/hr in tips

Just started at starbucks as a P/T job last month, IMO it's a genuinely fun job but the pay is pretty shitty, $9 to start and promotions are just as bad, but coming from someone who didn't really like to meet new people and generally afraid of customer service I've learned a lot over the last month or so. People who work here are very friendly and easy going, drinks weren't as overwhelming as I imagined.

My previous job was dishwasher/food prep which paid much better at around $14 an hour also part time, higher stress and the work was boring but made a lot of friends

I guess you need to evaluate the type of experience you can get from each job, my previous employer would've hired me in a heartbeat but I really wanted to try something new and I have no regrets. I'll probably stay at starbucks for about a year because the pay is just pathetic but I want it to at least count for something on my resume and they're pretty flexible with my school schedule. I don't really need the money anyways since I live at home with a pretty supportive family so I'm just here having fun lol

Idk, i think imma try retail. I've only got my first job recently, but im tired of it already fast food is so repetitive haha. but then again at times it fun.
I just wanted to see what jobs i could get other than those 2.

try applying at gm place. I did and got on the spot hired. You can probably score a job as a concession or vendor.

Might add, at 15yrs old, its almost impossible, other than maybe McDonalds or Timmys, or something like that.
16-18 is where you're "eligible" to work at most places, but then school gets in the way.
