For the past week, my normal highspeed hits maybe 8Mb/s for it's fastest speed
YouTube becomes twitchy, and streaming videos barely work.

-finally got my Internet connection up and running last night at 10:15. Slow poke Shaw fixed their technical issues. Shaw customer service message "Waiting time is twenty five to forty one minutes." -must have been a horde of angry customers calling them last night,

I'm not sure if this is just my connection, but it seems that every few days, usually at night, my internet would cut and come back for 10 + minutes. Anyone know what cold be causing this? Torrenting?

I'm playing css .. average ping at 52ms then it will jump to 250ms and will slowly drop down to 50ish then it will jump again and again... anyone having problems?? Download rate is at 2.5 from speedtest.net

Well Shaw is upgrading their lines for more bandwidth for the internet and providing mpeg4 for TV. I doubt you'll get the speeds I posted above on Telus.
