I know Shaw BB50 has limit of 400GB monthly, but they don't charge if you go over.
Does anyone know if Telus will charge the extra?
I am thinking switch to Telus 50, but my brother keeps downloading and uploading Torrents 24/7, which makes around 600-800GB of usage monthly. I can't afford paying for the extra usage

It says they will email you if you significantly go over. If you continue they will suspend your account. No extra charges for going over.
I just moved over to telus with internet 50. Im in east vancouver queen elizabeth area. Internet is pretty fast for downloading. I just did this test right now. I got 20ms ping. 21.39Mbps download and 10.27Mbps upload.

The age old question.. Telus or Shaw.
What I'll say is.. I just spent another 45 minutes dealing with Telus support. When their service works, it's great - but man, Telus is very unreliable in my neighbourhood and I'm spending way too much time trouble shooting issues. I've just lost my land lines for the second time in months - last time they were down for 4 days before a tech could get out and fix it.
I'm looking to go back to Shaw because I found them to be more consistent.

Is anyone around Commercial & Broadway getting some slow ass internet recently? This past week i've been getting 200-300 ping and constant 1-2mbps down and .5 up and i can't do shit, struggling to even load a 240p video that is only 1min long
