I have no say living outside of Vancouver

melloman 10-31-2011 02:32 PM

Anybody but Gregor.. if they chose a bum from East Hastings, I'd vote for him before Gregor, just keeps dumping money into stupid crap.. like who the fuck tries to get rid of the viaducts?!

Groot 10-31-2011 02:40 PM

....more like who the fuck puts bike lanes...

Are we voting for a specific PERSON or a PARTY?

I would vote for the limo guy who wants to implement bike insurance. He likely will not get the job, but at least he will have some votes.

FerrariEnzo 10-31-2011 03:40 PM

i dont vote coz whoever it is usually sux anyways.. promises shit but dont deliver

blum2001 10-31-2011 03:53 PM

Anyone but Gregor.

He wants to shift the tax burden from businesses to the residents more. What does that mean? I interpret that as higher property tax, higher costs for use of public facilities (community centers, pools, ice rinks, etc.) and likely higher parking rates.

And oh yeah, those bikes lanes, they're just temporary trial lanes. :troll:

I'll go with gregor because Suzanne Anton is a twat and i don't know who thew fuck else is running. Not a fan of her proposed plan to bring back the street car. 200million plus for a service that will only help tourist, i'd rather go with bike lanes.

StylinRed 10-31-2011 09:32 PM

Gregor

looks out for all vancouverites wishes not just the few

iEatClams 10-31-2011 09:50 PM

Its either Anton or Gregor, both are bad choices, but Gregor is the worst of two evils, so he'll end up winning.

Walperstyle 10-31-2011 11:17 PM

I will laugh when you welfare cases vote in NDP again. Maybe 10+ years of no jobs again?

Seriously that was one of the dumbest ideas thrown around. As bad as gregor is, Anton from all her interviews, strikes me as a complainer with little in the way of ideas to improve things.

Anjew 11-01-2011 12:46 AM

alternatives are pretty sad....

Wheat fields and chicken coops are two other things that gut less mayor moonbeam has to offer.

Death2Theft 11-01-2011 06:40 AM

Is she going for the asian vote or is she making fun of them?

I hate it when a political campaign is based on "the opposite of what the current guy is doing".

The liberals did that in the last federal election, and it worked out wonderfully for them.

And that is what Anton is doing as well.

Here in New West I'm happy to go with the same old, same old. Build more shit that makes my city look less dumpy please. Yeah!

Gumby 11-01-2011 11:50 AM

I hate having to vote for the "least bad" candidate...

HondaGuy 11-03-2011 12:16 AM

Anyone getting huge amount of house calls from candidates volunteers?
"Hi... Can we count on your vote on Nov.19?" ... Think I got 3-4 calls in 30mins lol...

Almost every candidates says the same thing, either greener vancouver, better economy, affordable housing, lower taxes, more schools/teachers and parks....
Hard to believe whose says the truth.

If they're counting on your vote, no one is telling you the truth.

Mr.HappySilp 11-03-2011 12:23 AM

The limo guy. Just coz there aren't better options..........

Mr.C 11-03-2011 07:19 AM

Dianne Watts, because Surrey is apparently sucking less with her in command.
