Ti4 is awesome. Met a few players, artists and production staff! Everyone's super friendly.

Waited in secret shop line for 7 hours yesterday though...

You just get to know a player and get into the "clique". It's a lot of dick sucking a lot less about how good you are.

Used to play with wayto and eternal envy and my god if you can manage playing with 15 year old kids crying all day you deserve an award.

Yeah, their system went down 9 times in 2 hours. I can't even imagine how many times it went down in the remainder of our line up. But it was a cool experience nonetheless. There's like 10 or so enormous tvs in the line up so we watched the games while we waited. Met many random strangers who've just stuck around and it's fun to hear their stories.

For the people who are complaining about MMR trenches, yeah you're going to get crappy teams. But the one key thing about winning games is that you have to remember it's a team game. You can't 1 man carry tinker or that stuff or go carry all day. In the end sometimes you're going to have to pick a support because your team is all carry. And you know what? That's good because it rounds out your skill set.

And you will get losing streaks and winning streaks. I like to think of MMR as rather short term. I like to think of your actual performance and score ratios as your long term trend. I'll clarify this as if you have a very big game impact as a PLAYER such as how much of the game is affected by you being there (you set up kills, you're there for assists, you ward, etc.) will practically determine roughly where you will end up. I'm talking about the choices you make in game that set you apart from the other players of similar MMR. If you can beat their choices, you play at a higher MMR, and should end up at a higher MMR.
