is it me or is the MOBA scene getting harder and harder since dota 1?? All these kids in pubs are trying so hard and picking CW / Timbersaw all the time and these tryhard lanes/heroes pool.

Either I am high MMR or all these pub games are getting harder and harder.

DotA 1 felt like everyone was trash except in the pubs and only inhouse league with anti cheat was fun but nowadays, people KNOW what to do

just play any game mode except for all pick

Ranked has been fun, but its hard to go in without knowing all the try hard strats.

Do people study this shit or something, or watch pro games constantly? Ive just been a casual player since dota 1 just going with the flow.

Games are like this in general. I used to play Street fighter 4. I used to own it up on psn when it was first released. As time goes by, people get better and games gets more tough.

Furthermore, people play solo in dota 1. Not much team play are involved. Garena and Bnet was a joke to play in. Dota 2 was much better to play with in my opinion.

lol i joined a ranked match as a team of 5 ranging from 3.5k~4.2k mmr

majority of us randomed, and then we went against this line up:

death prophet, pugna, rhasta, nature's prophet, dark seer

and they started pushing as 5, 10 minutes in

and they all bought necro books

and we had 0 anti pushers on our team

Yup. Necrobooks are becoming a thing now, 5 necrobooks, 3+ push heros, farm necrobooks and split push. Such an annoying strat. I screwed up my calibration games when I tried to queue with only one friend. You can't win no matter how good you are as long as their are idiots on your team. You can only pray their noobness doesn't affect your game. Wish I could redo my calibration so I'd only play with 5 stack. Fuck the south Americans trying to sand king mid and throwing games cause they're garbage.

just finished a captain's pick ranked 84 minute game and won.. omg :drunk:

84 mins? That's brutal..:concentrate:

It's true though.. games can well be over 60 mins in ranked matches.
People still defends when two sides are gone in base.

I won a match recently with only 2 rax left which was over an hour long..
It was quite stressful to be honest.

Expect about an hour of free time if you wanna play ranked.
