It took 3 redials and 12 minutes on hold and no issues. Next month free. Please not if you are normally charged for day time minutes you will still pay for those. Its just the service charges that are free. |

Thanks OP! Called 4 times, finally got on hold. Advised the CSR about the text, she did her verification, etc, etc, and asked me if I was looking to make adjustments on my account and I said no, and she said it's all done and will be adjusted on my next bill. My plan expires Feb 2013, regular voice/data plan ~$50 after taxes. Though I asked for a confirmation number of the transaction, she didn't give me one.. |
Fuuuuuuu....................I have 2 lines with Rogers, one of them has monthly credits from customer relations.. The rep told me that my line with the credits is NOT eligible for this promo. So i only got the promo for my other line without any credits. They credit EVERYTHING (plan + addons) except for the grrf. So I will be only paying $2.35 (grrf) + tax for that one line. I guess its not too bad. UPDATE: Just called in again for my dad's acc. This time the rep credited everything including the grrf, so basically the next bill will be $0......Another thing is my dad's account also has credits too, just like my first line. I guess it depends on the rep you speak with........ |
Girlfriend called in, got a dude who said she wasn't eligible because it's only for people whose contract is about to expire. I called in for her, got a female rep, she put me on hold to check for eligibility and came back saying I (my gf) was eligible and applied the credit. Out of curiosity I asked her what determined whether one was eligible and she said she wasn't 100% sure either because this was all done on the back end. She said it could have something to do with people who've called in to cancel recently, or people who've been with Rogers for a long time. Regardless, it states on each account whether you're eligible. In the end I wasn't able to get any useful information since my gf has been with rogers for 4 months only and is on a PSP so she only pays like $25 a month after taxes. The only thing I can think of that might have made her eligible is the fact that she ported her number in from a different carrier. |

just called now. They asked for promo code in the text. i told them to wait while i search for it. Haggled their time and then he said i was definitely eligible for it so i don't need to give him the code :lol:. so if you don't have the text and he asks you for the code, just pretend you have it and see if he/she will just give it to you |

finally got thru and i did get the credit for my next bill but the girl on the phone said certain restrictions apply and in order to apply the credit, my contract has been renewed another year :( so now my contract expires 2014!.......sigh. |
