It will, you just have to be patient and get the right rep.

If you get rejected the first time, call again.

ive got like $25 in discounts already and when they offered me free unlimited data/calling for 3 months, i didnt really feel like calling BACK in to try again... :/

My current retention plan is already discounted and I was able to get the promotion easily.

reps will often put notes on your account with the reason as to why you called. ex, if you were to call in a second time about the same thing, the second rep would know.

I don't think it will be a problem.

I called and got the promotion the first time. After I called with my brother's number and I was rejected the first time. I called again (with a different rep) and got the promotion applied.

You can imagine how many calls the reps have answered. As long as you're courteous, polite and don't have a "I deserve this, give it to me" attitude, I think you should be fine!

just called in. saying they made a mistake sending out the messages. I got declined saying I was not eligble for this =(

Lol they kept me on the line when they were verifying if i was eligible or not by talking about it with their peers
so I knew I wasnt getting it beforehand

didnt get it, they said "the condition that applies, is that you have a discounted and discontinued plan(plan doesn't exist), and the one month free is if you sign on 2 new phones and get a galaxy tab free plus the 1 month free"

They're just making excuses to not give this out anymore. Its bound to happen when something like this leaks out on the interwebs and crap loads of people call in to get their bill waived.

my contract is up in July 2012 :(

mine is up in nov 2012, had no problems.

I'm not with Rogers, but my coworker here just got off the phone with Rogers and got the free month credit, his contract wasn't up either, I believe he said he has until September or October 2012.

my plan is a heavily discounted plan already...worked in 5 mins.

I have $30+ worth in monthy credits and my contract isn't due till February 2013 and I got the 1 month credit.

If you guys read through the redflagdeals.com thread, you'll notice it does take multiple times if you don't get it on the first time. I got lucky, but if you really want the discount just keep trying.

lol i tried and they couldn't do anything for me. they bs'd about how they only give it to people who renewed for 3 years or wanted the tablet offer lol

first guy was super nice and tried hard to find my file to no avail. after realizing i must be thinking of that free service offer he transferred me to some lady who pretty much shut me down haha

they only gave u a month free again, says it wont work with the first offer and this one. So if you got the first one they wont give you this one.

They basically pay for the whole month for you next month, hst included. Instead of just your plan or whatever
