Adopted her from a breeder 4 months ago, she's 6 months old.
She's pretty crazy.

Thank you for posting this link! My mom is considering adopting another cat a while after her current kitty passes (she has cancer and it's growing too quickly for surgery now) and this will be super helpful!

And now I'm going to spend the rest of the night looking at kitties and puppies and I can't have :( boooooo!

I still love thinking back to the day when I met him at the shelter when I was worried he would get adopted to someone else. I asked the girl at the front if tons of other people were in line for him, and she said "no one has really noticed him, he's just another typical brown shelter dog to most." Can't believe thats the case.
What a handsome bastard he is.

This my mom's new cat :) She really missed having a kitty roaming around the house so we went out to Langley today and adopted Scrappy. She was a feral kitten that was brought in a couple months ago. She's just under a year old and absolutely loves to purr. She's still a bit skittish around loud noises or fast movement, but the shelter told us that will go away once she's accustomed to living in her own space (as opposed to the shelter).

We were really worried someone was going to ask to adopt her while my mom was filling out paperwork, so I hung out in front of the door where they were keeping her lol.

Jax at 11 weeks old now. Wife and I are into our 3rd week with him home and it has been a lot of work! First week was rough, no sleep what so ever with the little monster waking up every hour whining in his crate. This past week has been a lot better, he's sleeping through the night now in his crate (crate beside our bed).

Been a lot of work and our world has totally changed to revolve around the puppy but it's amazing to see the growth in Jax already in just a couple weeks.

Anyone have any recommendations or can refer a local (vancouver/Burnaby/new west) dog trainer or obidenence class? this is my wife and I's first dog, and although we've done a lot of research and reading online about everything dog, we feel that we want to recruit the help of a "professional"

We'd been talking to a local rescue about the dogs she brings in from California kill shelters... thought about taking one of them on. Then she sent us this post:

Well today she arrived in Bellingham via Wings Of Rescue and we went down to pick her up:

This will be her home for the next few days as she needs to be quarantined from the others while she settles in:

Not sure if the image is working, but meet Minnie the Maltipom! Ironically she's born on 2/20 of this year

EDIT: Any recommended places to get engraved dog tags? Either local or online vendors.
