Glove:
invest in some sliders. 250 bucks risk... it would save your 1000 dollars on a drop or a 250 replacement on sliders.. think about it.

seems like you can get some for 50 bucks on ebay,

why on earth would someone pay 250 dollars for 2 little pegs?

I would recommend going against using no name/generic ebay frame sliders. The quality of the hardware may not be as durable as the leading competitors. The puck's ability to resist abrasion as well and the quality and strenght of the mounting hardware comes into question.

Maybe conduct a little more research on certain ebay brands before purchasing
I know hotbodies/woodcraft frame sliders start at around $70

Ride with confidence....move your head around like your aware of your surroundings...make sure your signals are off after you use them...be aware of speed limits and construction zones.

jkw: the other two have already signed up on their own unfortunately, so it might be a while sorry.

For the future, for anyone planning to commit, please PM me directly as stated in the original post. Otherwise I can't guarantee that I will see your post.

Congrats! Now, time for you to go buy a bike :P The 2013 250r is sweet looking

Mine's on Tuesday at 10:00am; nervous as heck. Like you, I haven't been on a bike since the course (July 9th). Did you do the mock road assessment? And, who was your super chill examiner? I hope I get him/her as my examiner too

I believe PRS runs until November, then they're off/closed until February. I remember Vanessa (past receptionist) telling me this in 2010.

I'm thinking of doing so as well with the Sherpa and digital speedometer, lol. What day and time did you do yours at? Ask any questions before the test to stall some time? hehe
