Well here are the patch notes: EA Forums

.Renn.Sport 04-23-2013 01:03 AM

2.0 doesn't fix anything! my residents still refuse to go to school and my tourist jump from 1.5 million to 3.5 million a day!

traffic got even worst, people stop recycling. Only thing that went better was that trash is actually picked up

knight604 04-23-2013 01:28 AM

trash city..

Lomac 04-23-2013 08:04 AM

Man, the EA forums are just full of hate for the new patch. :lol

Mr.HappySilp 04-23-2013 08:04 AM

stop playinjg like 2 weeks into launch. Never again will I buy a game made by EA.

Gt-R R34 04-30-2013 11:41 AM

knight604 08-28-2013 11:28 AM

So they fixed traffic... if anyone is still interested in playing this..

Mr.HappySilp 08-28-2013 12:19 PM

I have it installed just haven't played it. Maybe when I am really really bored. Even then PoE is sitll a better choice and is free!

Hondaracer 08-28-2013 12:28 PM

I've been playing for a few hours last few days

Pisses me off that if you have a meltdown there's no way to recover the area lost, also there are still glitches I've been having with power/water

My water is fine and my power.

Just build the sewage next to water plant for unlimited water.

You have to have educated people to sustain the nuclear power plant.

kingdrew 08-28-2013 12:49 PM

I'm actually playing again. A lot of fun for me right now. Haven't touched it since before 2.0.

mos_skeeto 08-28-2013 12:54 PM

Is it playable without the DLC?

knight604 08-28-2013 01:17 PM

What dlc?

willystyle 08-28-2013 01:44 PM

I think he means DRM

mos_skeeto 08-28-2013 03:03 PM

I stopped playing since the second week. Being EA I assumed that there would be a bunch of purchase only items for the game. Guess not...

knight604 08-28-2013 03:33 PM

You get a free dlc with this patch, 7.0.

Basically you get to build churches and it increases your happiness and land value i believe.

Good to know. I might pick it up if I see it cheap somewhere. I'm really, really opposed to giving EA money, though. They're already going to get $60 out of me for NHL 14, which I'm only getting to play with my friends.

Actually, it's pretty funny, because if it weren't for EA's complete lack of support for fixing NHL 13, SimCity would've been a day one purchase for me. As a result of their lack of support for NHL 13, I decided not to purchase any other EA games for the rest of the year. Man, am I glad I dodged the bullet on SimCity because the launch was a complete trainwreck from what I read.

willystyle 08-28-2013 10:55 PM

Are there in-game purchases yet in Simcity? I dont like the idea of spending money to get new features.

BF4 coming out :troll:

Origins Canada is selling it for $69.99 while the US counterpart, $49.99... thats some BS!!
BB/FS/Amazon $59.99

I might have to do that proxy thing like I did when I bought BF3 through Origins India.. haha

Not anything that you NEED to get. There's 2 right now, airships (public transportation) and amusement parks.

FerrariEnzo 08-29-2013 10:55 AM

im glad I was able to stop myself from buying this game..tried it at my friends place.. I didnt really enjoyed it.. graphics looks nice.. but I really hate the boarders and how it limits the size you can build.... road system still is a PITA.. how you lay out buildings is weird.. maybe I didnt spend enough time playing it..

knight604 08-29-2013 11:27 AM

There are Mods to this game by the way where you can build outside the borders .

You really have to understand how this game AI works in order to have a good traffic system going on .

simcity - What is a good road layout when starting up a city? - Arqade

Hondaracer 08-29-2013 01:09 PM

Any link to these mods for bigger cities?
