anybody still have trouble connecting to NA West 2 server, even if it says available?

I was gonna buy the new Simcity game, but the more I read about it being nothing like Simcity 4. The more I don't want to get it. The solid mod community kept me interested in Simcity 4. Knowing that such community won't exist in Simcity 2013, and that EA will charge the shit out of you with their own mods is keeping me away.

Simcity 4 forever.

I just finished talking to EA support chat thing.

got offered a 25% partial refund for my game.

If you don't have deluxe version I was also offered the deluxe content for free, or sims3 expansion packs which i denied as I don't play sims.
