SimCity Beta is Here!
 

Just played the beta a few times, I really can't wait for the final game to come out!

But the beta was so limited, and each section of the region Maps were quite small. I still haven't figured out the best size to have each block of street set. The density of the zones now depends on the size of the roads that are surrounding it. The best I could do is get 36000 population within 1 hr of play time so far.

^ yeah it's a bit different... I hated it when I first started playing but now it's getting better...
if only I can get around the 1 hour limit...

I'm loving the beta, can't wait for the full game.

haven't played since the classic simcity. Looking forward to this.

its a great time killer. sim games are addictive.

So... I just rechecked my email, and apparently I did get an invitation to beta! Woot!!

damn, i wanna try it out. didn't know it was a registration beta release. :fuuuuu:

there's another beta for the 16th for 24 hours

just as im playing the beta and getting into the groove.. my hour runs out

Pre-ordered the digital deluxe version... hopefully this game has enough players that EA will not be shutting down the servers any time soon.

i shall be pre-ordering too... though I foresee myself playing simcity4 much more than the new one

will this be like simcity 1.4?

Just pre-ordered it on Origin.
Over here in Australia if I pre-order it, it comes to 99.99 (digital deluxe)
In canada, it's 79.99 + a 30 dollar coupon for future purchases.

i'm waiting for them to launch it on steam.. not a fan of origin

will never happen as long as EA has the rights to Simcity...
Trust me, I hate origin as much as anyone else does... but there just isn't any way around it

There is a slight chance that it COULD possibly go on Steam. Sims wasn't on Steam until recently.
