with gas prices going up i wouldnt be suprised if vancouver looks like this soon, http://thecoolgadgets.com/wp-content...congestion.jpg |
so much potential, see if this will convince you to get a ruckus |
Anyone here ever have the 250cc Big Ruckus ? |
ruckus generally gets bad reviews. unless you get the 250. storage is kinda of a big deal for me as I will use this to get to campus. http://gacheckpoint.com/products/2009-yamaha-bws-3 also this seems to be in my pricerange and I can finance it. |

I don't think so, but you would have to check ICBC to be sure… most scooters from any of the big brands can go over 50k and are sold all over BC at motorcycle shops |
When I rented scooters, they were Honda Jazz and locked at 50 KM/h. I thought that was the rule for 49cc's but maybe the rental place did it? That would be :fulloffuck: Edit; they're locked at 70 KM/h |

I say this because eBikes are cheaper because you don't have to pay gas. Also they don't require insurance. If you do the math, the savings are quite substantial...also eBikes are getting so powerful that it can easily beat scooters (go on youtube). Some of them can go more than 100km/h...although it's not recommended. If you want a reliable transportation, maybe just buy a BionX kit or something. There's a lot out there though. IMO, eBikes look better than scooters... http://www.mtb-windhaag.com/uploads/...ange-white.jpg |
Ebikes are limited to 32 km/h |

I think culverin maybe hooking me up with his old yamaha. Revscene is great. |
The best in my opinion, having ridden and sold them all at work is the BWS50. Rugged, simple 2 stroke, hauls ass, and simple bolt ons can make it top out over 90-100kph. Bore the motor a bit and you're at 120kph. And it has Yamaha reliability which is above and beyond literally everything else out there (yes, including Honduh). |

whatever you guys get, make sure to wear proper gear with it. falling on asphalt without protection isn't too much fun (no matter if ur going 10K or 51 k). too many stupid drivers out thr, specially summer. due to low profile (size and noise ) of scooter, its less safer than motorcycle. |
