Jason Garrison needs to hit the net. He took like 10 shots and only 1 maybe 2 hit the net.

If management thinks we can go anywhere with the squad we're fielding right now, they'll be in for a long, long summer. Trade has got to happen or I'd be willing to put money on the fact that the Canucks aren't going to make any kind of playoff push, if they even make the playoffs. San Jose and Phoenix are just 2 points back, and with wins tomorrow, they could leapfrog in front of us, putting us down to 9th.

Hansen - Ebbet - Raymond
Higgins - Schroeder - Weise
Pinizotto - Lapierre - Sestito

Is that honestly a fucking joke? It's like we have a top 3, and bottom 9. Hansen and Raymond are playing great this year, but they're not second liners. Don't even get me started on Ebbet. The players can only do so much.. especially if they're not that skilled. Something has got to change.

It's not like player X or player Y is going to play better than they really can.

I've just come to accept our team sucks now, even on paper now.
Maybe we're expecting more talent than capable from our current roster,
so I would now blame management for having lack of skill in our roster.

It's like saying CBJ need to try harder to make it to the playoffs, when it's really just that their roster sucks.
And even with Booth and Kesler, I'm not all that convinced we're cup contenders.
Since Booth is an underachiever, and Kesler... well, he'll find a way to get injured and either play 50% or just be out of the lineup.

The bottom 9 looks like an above average AHL top 9

and in hindsight, if the Kadri + Bozak rumours were true, we should have let Lu go in the summer

lol'd hard when #AVLogic kicked in and took a timeout with 18 seconds left and not when we pulled Lu with ~2 mins left

They played a 43 minute game today. Played hard the first 2 periods, I loved that they were throwing everything at the net but when Minnesota got their 2 and 3rd goal we just shut down until the final 3 minutes of the game when they finally decided to wake up again.

I see the Canucks winning 2 of those games tops. I just don't have the confidence in the team anymore, and with 5 games in 7 days, things don't look good. We could be looking in from the outside by the end of the week if the boys don't figure it out.

Since it's back-to-back game, Schneider and Luongo's going to split a game each either way.
Luongo has good stats against Minnesota at home. Shutout the Wild 3 times in the past 4 home games.
