Why would he change his mind now? No way is Tampa gonna trade Stamkos's linemate and who knows how good Purcell really is without Stamkos? Would love to see Pominville here tho. But it'll cost us an arm and a leg to acquire him. | Grabo can be had if the price is right. Methinks grabo is not gonna thrive in carlyle's system and Kadri is really emerging with Chemistry between lupul, kulemin, frattin, and to a lesser extent, Macarthur. I like grabovski's energy, effort, and grittyness, but he's really not an economic 2nd liner. He's a 5.5mil cap hit and while he does do an ok job defensively, he's not a stanley cup caliber 2C for 5.5mil. As for his potential on the nucks.....he's more goal scoring oriented. He could be a suitable stop-gap solution, but I think nucks need a more playmaking oriented center. I would argue that Clarke Macarthur would have better chemistry with kesler/booth, but it's too bad he's a winger. |
