How do you develop/produce when you're stuck on the 4th line with plugs? He single handedly killed Hodgsons & Grabners career in Vancouver cause they're offensive players and don't play his defense first style. He even put them on checking lines which they don't excel at. Btw thanks AV for calling the timeout after the second goal last night to settle the team down and regroup ---Oh wait #AVLogic |
I'll agree that right now more than ever youth with talent need to be given a shot. I ignore the Coho comments because he wasn't taking Kes or Hank's spot and his camp wanted out because he's top 6 talent. Hindsight is 20/20... Schroeder has been playing well, and seems to be earning more ice. Unfortunately for him, he's tiny out there and sometimes it shows. I can see why AV doesn't put him out there against top 6 talent. At the end of the day, I understand where a lot of people are coming from. However, it can also be annoying to read page after page of grossly repetitive negativity. Btw, I agree AV should have called a timeout but it's not some magic spell that guarantees the end result would've been any different. :lol |
it's not always about being given top 6 minutes. it's being allowed to make a few mistakes and continue playing the role you fit in to on the team. he needs to stop forcing players into roles they simply cannot excel at. guys need time to learn from mistakes and a coach should be working on building their confidence rather than shattering it at every chance he gets. why? because guys become tentative, they only make the safe plays in fear of being buried on the 4th or benched. it's no wonder our young talent doesn't develop well. hell, the vets we bring in don't all get a fair shake either. let's not fool ourselves with schroeder's minutes lately. AV has been forced by circumstance to put him on the 2nd line to get some kind of offense going. also, you cannot ignore the favouritism av displays time and time again. Aaron Rome? Andrew Alberts? we've talked about Ballard a bazillion times in these threads so i'll leave that topic alone but it's obvious what's going on here. |
Terrible luck for Crosby. I didn't realize this was actually his third time getting a puck in the lower half of his face. And coincidentally, all three times against the Islanders. |
Fuck dis shit |
here we go again more shit-talking about AV, i thought we were over this but okay haha :lol |
sorry, i never really had my chance to rant about him until now haha. |
Am I the only one that thinks they put Kassian down for a slight reconditioning stint after the injury I dont see any harm in that. Recondition, and get him a bit of playing time, improve upon his confidence level? ie.. Schroeder |

He'll be back soon. ...I hope :lol |

4 days for Gillis to make a move (or not) :fullofwin: edit: confirmed that Kass sent down for conditioning Ben Kuzma @benkuzma #Canucks have sent winger Zack Kassian to #Wolves for conditioning stint. Bad back had him out eight of last nine games. |
I know millionaires hype is all over, but these are neat... just neat..haha. I will not buy https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...34444667_n.jpg https://www.facebook.com/sheddesigns |

Edit: Damn, looks like they are just Vans shoes custom painted by "Shed Designs"... |
@FarhanLaljiTSN Jensen will likely play with the twins tomorrow. No timeline on Kassian's recall. They dont have the luxury of easing him back in the lineup |
Kassian will be out 5-6 more weeks. Back injuries take longer time to heal and needs to take extra care of it. If he tweak it again, it's gonna be another 8 weeks all over again :lol |

:lol the hate in this thread is strong lay of the haterade guys... anyhow, kind of interested how Gillis and AV controls the Jensen situation other than the ice-time... unless the CBA changed a year out of his ELC is gone if he plays more than 5 games which isn't worth it at all (not this year at least) kind of desperate of us... but heres to hoping this will just be a stint to let him have a taste of the NHL, him and Sweatt playing pretty good in Chicago for sure though |
Crosby probably suffered a degree of concussion. Such bad luck this guy has. |
