Big IF. Ppl are saying it depends on Clowes decision.

It's more than just Clowe making the decision. His wife is definitely gonna have an influence on where he will be playing after the trade deadline.

If wifey and daughter want to stay on the West Coast, perhaps Vancouver is his destination. :fullofwin:

I feel Sharks like the NYR trade better but if Clowe were to decide and knows that Vancouver is in the mix, I think he will pick the Canucks..imo

I dont know why we would trade raymond for any type of prospect or pick. We need raymond for The playoffs and if it means losing him for nothing on the off season so be it.

As per @Real_ESPNLeBrun, it's SJ's 2nd, FLA's 3rd and conditional 2nd (on re-signing or winning two playoff series). If not, it becomes 5th.

So Clowe chose NYR because he knew he would get re-signed, while we don't have cap space to do so
