No, they won't put Roy on the third line. Guy is an offensive player. They'll put him in an offensive role and put Kesler on the shutdown line. I might swap Hansen and Higgins but Higgins is solid on D as well. Kesler and Burrows are elite defenders and Hansen actually isn't far behind. All three are fast, strong skaters...that's a badass checking line.

I like this trade more as I look at it but I wish they picked up a bigger center. If they couldn't find a defensive center to be on the shutdown line, they did the next best thing...find an offensive center to free up Kesler to concentrate on defense. They got Manny to alleviate some of the defensive pressure on Kes. Seems like the opposite could work as well.

Sucks to lose K-Nauts, but he was going to have a tough time cracking the roster with Edler, Garrison, Hamhuis as 3 left handed d-men for the next 4-5 years.

Worse..ppl are saying he Connauton was losing playing time to Anderrson as well.
