Honestly, can't blame on injuries at all; every team is dealing with injuries, even some teams that are dealing with more vital injuries than us and are playing better. Look at Ottawa without Anderson, Spezza, and Karlsson...

Gotta infuse the top 6 with a new face and some heart. Kesler will only bring so much, and I don't think he's our saviour by any means. This isn't very good.

Usually I like to automatically point the finger at AV, but it seems like the Sedins haven't really been doing their jobs, either. For once, when we actually have secondary scoring, they disappear; this is always the fucking case. This team lacks leadership, an embarrassing SCF in 2011, early exit in 2012, and dreadful season this year is proving it.

they played like trash! you can't even blame the goalies for this loss...Sedins did nothing the whole game, burr and higgins were the best players on the ice tonight! AV should have put burrows back with the sedins in the third to get them going but AV is trash and doesn't know how to coach!!!

It's hard to really pinpoint what's wrong with this team right now, as it always seems to vary. We'll often get a single positive element out of a game, but be lacking the rest. Whether it be primary scoring, secondary scoring, or good goaltending - we only seem to be able to get one at any given time, never being able to pull it all together. I feel it's just consistency through the whole lineup, some guys show up to play, some don't, etc. It's really frustrating to watch, as we're pointing fingers at different guys after every game.

Maybe that comes down to coaching, maybe leadership, who really knows. All that I know is that there needs to be a change of some sort. Bring in a new face, one who will make an impact. Don't bring in a fucking depth guy because you feel that our team can compete when "healthy". Chances are, there will be no time when everyone is completely healthy. Change the culture of the room, give the guys some energy and reason to play. I can understand it must be hard to play when you look around the room and half the guys belong in the AHL, but they have to find some way to compete.
