Kipper seems to be feeling the effects of this and his stats are suffering big time this year, not the best way to end your career. I'm sure some people will say "Boohoo, he gets paid millions", but in terms of purely an athlete, gotta feel bad for him.

Feel bad for him? He said that if he got traded he wouldn't even report to the team...No, I don't feel bad for him at all....He wants to be there...

dam ebbett sux

kristianhay 04-06-2013 07:24 PM

Obviously he wants to be there - for family reasons and because he loves the city, but I'm talking purely from a statistical point of view. Save % under .900 and GAA over 3 kind of blows to end your career.

Yeah, it blows, but how can you feel bad for him if he's not willing to move to get in a better situation...He clearly doesn't care enough, so neither do I.

kristianhay 04-06-2013 07:30 PM

I guess at this point, family takes priority over hockey, which is fair especially since this is his last year. Hope he picks it up anyways.

With less than a month left in the regular season, if this is going to be his last season, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt his family all that much if he was playing for another city that could compete for a cup for 2 months....

Burrows is a Monster............... for those who missed the third goal.

He just had a pre-mature baby boy......

Makes 100% sense

caring for his baby > chance of Stanley Cup

Not even a little bit, hope he gets lit up every single game.

Yeah, it must suck having all those millions and millions of dollars in his bank account.

o ok

Ronin 04-06-2013 08:03 PM

There's a difference between wanting an opposing goalie to get lit up every game and wanting a respectful end to an outstanding career by one of the best NHL goalies of the last decade. I could give a fuck about the Flames...I hope they play awesome for the last few games and get to 9th in the West but at the same time, I feel for Kipper...it's respect for a formidable enemy that we've done battle with so many years.

But that's his choice. He chose not to get traded.

Think about if it was Iginla staying with Calgary til he retired rather than Kipper. Think about the respect Iggy showed Linden in his last game and tell me you hope he has a shit end to his career.

fucking i want to punch that pinoy behind the penalty box.... cunt fuck thinks he's funny

Ronin 04-06-2013 08:13 PM

This has been a fun game to watch at least.

If the Canucks played as hard as the Flames, it would be 10-0 right now.
