That's what I thought. I felt that there were better things to discuss then that... Lol Posted via RS Mobile |

I like Toews over just about every other NHL'er out there, but you're comparing apples to oranges and you'll end up driving yourself nuts if every time you watch Hank you wish it were Toews instead. Seems to me that you'll be in a long lineup of Vancouverites who won't appreciate the Sedins until they're gone. Just like the long lineup of the ex-Luongo haters who are suddenly changing their tune. :lol |

With that said, when I first heard about it I didn't care and didn't really think any less of Hank either. At the end of the day I just want cups so this stuff just seems too silly for me to get all bent up about like some others. |
By playing Henrik for 22 seconds, it didn't cost the team anything. Are the haters having a hard time accepting the fact that AV was nice enough to respect Henrik? People have to also remember, the Ironman streak is literally once-in-a-life-time kind of a record/stat. It's not like the other triumps where you can just rip it up the next season and hope to win it. You basically gotta play your entire career without missing a single game to even be in contention. So wouldn't AV be a total dickface if he said, "NO, Henrik. I'm not even going to put you out for one shift, so say good bye to your once-in-a-life-time streak. :troll:" |
only played 22 seconds? who cares? it didn't actually contribute to the team playing shitty on saturday. if it makes anyone feel better, you can think henrik had dressed as a 4th liner then got benched for a bad defensive play. :troll: |

Why would ppl think this wouldn't have happened to Jonathan toews? People saying he woulda played a meaningless game rather than 22 seconds? Sorry but I call bs on that. No way would the hawks management want toews to play a meaningless game ( and they didn't, they scratched him). But at the same time if he had an ironman streak going (which is a miraculous feat) there is no way the hawks would end it. It's not his fault he and his team were so damn dominant all season. Had they not been he definitely woulda played that last game. Would it make sense to end an amazing streak on the reason that their team was too damn good? Don't think so. There's no way toews or any other player woulda done it differently than Hank. AV found a way to benefit him, the team, and ALL OF Vancouver with zero loss. Only an idiot would have done it any other way. Posted via RS Mobile |
gonna lol if the Pens and Hawks get bounced within the first 2 rounds, pretty much all media outlets have the Pens and Hawks as a lock for the finals |
Ballard > Ebett on 4th line |

Or should we have compared Toews to Luongo a few seasons ago?? :suspicious: Toews and Kesler would be a good comparison, although Toews wins that hands down. |

Give me 1 reason why the Pens will not win the Stanley cup? |

Remember when the Ducks took out the Red Wings and the Stars in 03? Remember when the Oilers took out the Red Wings and the Sharks in 06? Remember when the Kings, an 8th seed team, took out the #1, #2, and #3 seeded teams in the West and went on to win the Stanley Cup? Yeah, the list can go on and on. |
Shitty goaltending... Probably Posted via RS Mobile |
super teams or not, you still have to fight/earn your victories. there are so many super teams in the past (all sports) that have failed to win it all. |

In all seriousness, if the Canucks end up in the finals, I would bet against them so that if they lose, at least I win some money. |

But yes, it's hard to bet against them. Their team is so stacked and not just stacked with good players who don't gel together but they are stacked with players who have been getting shit done thus far. In the end, you still gotta play the games and in a 4 round grind anything can happen. Can't wait! |
I personally think Blackhawks would take the Penguins if it should even go that far. If not, I'm still banking on the Blackhawks making a deeper run anyway. |
If we face the blackhawks or the kings we will beat them, anyone else we might lose :fuckthatshit: |
everyone retained their draft picks based on standings except for the Avalanche get 1st overall while Florida gets 2nd |
