Which eastern teams are your picks to make it the conference final? Pittsburgh and Washington are my picks. |
so Juice just said that the sharks embellish. I'm thinking.. This team can't even out embellish the sharks.... Damn Posted via RS Mobile |

As a Canucks fan, I'm just sick of all this bullshit. All the excuses, the lack of consistency, the lack of results, the lack of motivation. We spend hundreds a year on Canucks merch and ridiculously overpriced tickets only to watch them lose. The least they can do for their fans is to put their hearts into it. I'm gonna need the long off-season to cool off. In the meantime, I'm cheering for any other Canadian team to go far, as well as the Red Wings, who have always been my #2 team. I'll even be happy if the Isles go far..huge underdog, and they've been fighting hard so far this series. |

It's not just the Players or coaches with excuses. Even our fans have excuses. What's with the :QQ:ing about bad refs. Every season, every series, fans are crying about the bad calls. Suck it up, it goes both ways in the grand scheme of things, we have embellishers too, and our special teams are terrible. People are whining about irrelevant things. Good teams find ways to win, and Canucks are incapable of that. Which doesn't shock me at all, considering Canucks are only capable of getting a lucky goal and then trying to hold on for the 1-0 win. So wonder one questionable call combined with Canucks' lackluster PK sends everyone complaining. Seems like no one remembers about Canucks' inability to produce a single scoring chance (or sometimes even a shot) when they're on the PP. :suspicious: I like MAKAVELI's youtube channel and all, he compiles the best Canuck highlight videos I know of, but the guy can be such a biased idiot sometimes. I must have called him out on one of his videos way back (I don't actually remember if I did post anything), cause apparently I'm blocked from posting anything on his videos, nor can I subscribe to his channel. |

I think the biggest concern moving forward is how you build a team around a core of players who are aging. The other concern is the lack of any real talent in the farm system and how you beef the team up offensively which has been a concern since our cup lost and has never been addressed. Than you have the issue with contracts that the Canucks have to dump e.g. Ballard, Booth and Lu. Whoever the GM is come next season will have to delicately maneuver themselves because a bad signing, bad trade or lack of signings could set the team back big time and we could get find ourselves in a permanent rebuilding phase like so many other teams in the league. |

IMO, Kesler/Burrows/Bieksa/Hansen/Raymond/Edler/Tanev/Schneider were rookies at some point and was given ice time to develop. It's just media likes to use Hodgson/Grabner/Shroeder as examples that they don't get enough ice time. Then there are two sides on this topic. Offensive players like them requires ice time to develop vs these players are not defensive enough so they get less ice time. |

Canucks can draft a Sid Crosby equivalent next year and they still won't touch first line minutes until the Sedins retire. |
i have a feeling that for the return that we'll need/want, it'll be schneider that might be dealt...lack and cannata on the wings... heck, i'd do that... anyways, did anyone see volpatti's name pop up when hamhuis scored? |
I think this team can be "reworked" Too soon for a rebuild But if you want return for the future, you start this off season and have a canucks fire sale |
Well the Sharks are a perfect example of a team who properly injected youth into their lineup. Look at thorton and marleau, both are into their 30's. Problem is we still suck at drafting. Posted via RS Mobile |
lolol wtf... Leafs have the street viewing setup like we did for the finals/olympics for game 3.. lol oh leafs |

Cause I have Roy in my pool, and I was thinking "wtf, that's Roy's assist" Then I remembered Volpatti's not even with the Canucks anymore. lol |

lol, it's fine. for part of that game, i think we all saw the team that owned chicago prior to the playoffs. all we can do now is sit back and laugh, cry or a combo of both. |
Its fucking sad how I'm enjoying EVERY OTHER SERIES much more than my beloved Canucks Watching the Rangers climb outta their hold right now has been fantastic. |
aand the rangers win it :) |

its sad to see every other team is fighting, (2-1 series) and canucks are down to 3-0 :QQ: |
Blues up 2-0 on LA early, awe yeah. Realistically, what do you guys think happens in the offseason? Near guarantees to be gone, I'd think: Booth, Ballard, Lu, Roy, Raymond, Weise, Ebbett, AV Could be gone: Edler, Bieksa, Kesler, Lapierre, Alberts, Gillis I could see any of the above guys being packaged for something/let walk (if applicable). I don't see the Sedins being moved as they have NTC's. It will be an interesting summer. |

AV gets fired. Luongo gets traded for a bag of pucks. Gillis once again says he can't find any suitable trades to shake up the rest of the team. So we call it a day. (And bank on the new coach being a hero) Something tells me I shouldn't be surprised if this happens... |
