I have:
- The Essential Calvin n Hobbes
- The Indispensable Calvin and Hobbes
- Yukon Ho!
- Weirdos From Another Planet
- Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Monster Snow Goons
- It's A Magical World
Not Calvin & Hobbes related but I think these are cool...these are some Peanuts books that my mom gave me when I was a kid. They are old as hell. Some say late 50's.
awwww totally loved this when I was younger... thanks for the remind

I just watched the Bill Watterson Calvin & Hobbes documentary on Netflix a few days ago, definitely worth the watch.

^ your Hobbes was a counterfeit... Watterson never officially licensed Calvin and Hobbes anywhere; especially a Hobbes doll! (according to the documentary, that is...)
I wish I had a hobbes doll

I don't have an actual Hobbes doll, but my grandparents gave me something similar when I was born and I've kind of always kept it around because of dem feelz
For me, Calvin passed in 1995 when he was still a child. A mature, intelligent, wise and charismatic child.
While I completely admire Bill's protectiveness and reasoning to retire C&H, as an avid reader, I couldn't help but wonder what if he grew up. Where would he be?
I mean Jackie Paper DID abandon Puff the Magic Dragon.
I guess that is the sad part for me. A truly amazing individual, encompassing some of the best qualities our species has to offer, who's life was retired and best left to live on within our memories.
Hmm, thinking about it, maybe that was the point? To simply end it and leave the impact of reality set in with the reader and let time heal the wound.
