im with bell and i had the same plan you had, i called in and said "hey i heard you guys are having this new plan for 60$/month , and its pretty much like the one i have cept 5gb more of data, and my current one is 55$/month so i was wondering if i could switch ? " he said sure and told me itd be an extra 5$ since mine is 55 and the plan is 60, and i gave him the go-ahead and it comes into effect my next billing.

oh and you don't go on another "3year" plan, it jsut attaches to however many months you have left of your current contract

Bell plan has 6gb LTE, unlimited incoming, unlimited text/pic/vid, fab10, evenings and weekends at 6pm, 200 mins, mobile tv + $7 for CID and VM just so you guys know

and 10% off if you guys have unlocked phones with waived act fee. so essentially $61 for everything on 30 days

Just called telus and got switched, didn't have to renew, they sent me to the loyalty dept and they did me a solid. Helps when your phone bill has had a credit for the last 8 months, haha.

Text are usually across Canada; don't know about picture messaging though.

If you hover your mouse over the numbers next to the listed features on their promotion page, it will go into finer details. It says on there that text/picture/video messaging is covered across canada.

If I get a blackberry phone, Do I have to pay an additional 15 a month for BIS, or will BBM work off my 6g

Don't know the details of your plan but you need some sort of a BIS plan with a Blackberry because they need their own specific plan

I just switched to this matching plan on Bell with my Blackberry Torch, no extra charge for BIS.

i don't know if this has changed much, but when i had 6gb on fido, BIS was free because i was already paying so much for data. that's what the rep told me anyway

Called Rogers and they told me I'll get BIS with it. Couldn't call last night because it was too late and their general inquiries line was closed =\ . Thanks for the answers!

they just add BIS to your plan, so anyphone can run the data android iphone berry

I just called and wanted to cancel my contract with 4 months left and the guy offered me the 6gb plan at $55 and caller id at $4.49.

I don't know if this is good considering I've only been with rogers for almost 3 years (4 months until 3 years).

^ ppl here have gotten this plan for less. so its not as good as it can be.

I'm on Fido, checked their website but can't find this plan. Has anybody called Fido customer service about this plan?

Well according to this site, Fido does have this plan. But it does say it's only for existing customers. Guess I'll give em a call tomorrow.
