I can't wait until the one in Poco opens

fliptuner 08-19-2012 03:34 PM

LOL "GHETTO GROCERY BAG!" in the song. Cracked me up.

Lomac 08-19-2012 04:05 PM

Funny enough, I was already planning on going to the Morgan Crossing location tonight for a 5 Guys burger. :D

Yep sharing the same building as Swiss Chalet. Burger King is opening as well.

There'll be one on Robson Street soon where the Candy Aisle was (it's moving next door)

Too bad those Fries don't look anything like the ones here. The ones I had at park royal was a soggy pile. I rather cook up some costco fries.

i've eaten there a few times and each and every time i think that there's a lot of toppings but not much flavour on the meat...you probably need to add some worcestershire sauce just to give it some flavour...

van_city23 08-19-2012 07:23 PM

never tried it before but going to find one tomorrow!

Wykydtron 08-19-2012 07:31 PM

For what I paid when I went, was not overly impressed.

that's what I was wondering, if the locations in town are comparable to the ones in US.

Not to fret because they have a location in bellingham...I can to drop by the next time I go hoard some Costco milk :fullofwin:

bballguy 08-19-2012 07:49 PM

I dunno what you guys are talkin bout; the burgers and the fries at the Morgan Crossing location are delicious....That said, nothing compares to Nando's peri fries :drool

HondaGuy 08-19-2012 08:10 PM

Tried five guys burgers on friday and it was delicious.

We had the double bacon cheeseburger, a single cheeseburger, medium cajun fries, and dasani.

Holy smokes the double burger was huge, add the free topping: lettuce, tomato, mushroom, pickles, bbq sauce... So yummy!! And just the medium cajun fries was so large... Couldnt finish the portion lol... Couldnt even fit a mouthful...

Gh0stRider 08-19-2012 08:20 PM

must try this place now

TheSalesman 08-19-2012 08:21 PM

The fries are definitely not like that at the north van location. Like above said, they are soggy and not crispy.
Got to go Bellingham to try the burgers and fries there.

I've eaten at the Morgan Crossing Five Guys restaurant a few times. It's pretty good. I like it.
I just like how the fries had crazy amount of bonus fries in the bag. My order of fries was like two or three orders. It was nuts.
I think the meat was really well done, it was not over cooked and it was juicy. I personally like all the crazy amount of vegetables one can put on their burger.

Awesome stuff! I might go there tomorrow for lunch, its either that or that Kami sushi place next door, which is awesome as well! So much awesome around the neighborhood!

AVS_Racing 08-19-2012 10:29 PM

hm....... the closest one in van is the north van one maybe I should try it some time :suspicious:

?uestlove 08-19-2012 10:42 PM

]i would suck dick for that burger and friends right now
