even if you make a lousy 50 bux a phone. thats 5.5-7% return.
it's a solid investment.
0 risk man. you just return the phones if you cant flip em...
sell 17+ phones and you got yourself a free iphone5. or just pocket 5%+ you just made over a weekend?
Keep track of the preorder web page. If you still see apple continue to ship on release date, then chances of a shortage are slim. Posted via RS Mobile
Technical specifications for the new iPhone 5 reveal that there are three versions of the device, two GSM versions with differing LTE Bands, and one CDMA version.
dont think anyones gonna ship phones over to hk/china unless they use the same LTE bands

An Apple spokeswoman, Natalie Kerris, put it this way: “iPhone 5 supports simultaneous voice and data on GSM-based 3G and LTE networks. It is not yet possible to do simultaneous voice and data on networks that use CDMA for voice and LTE for data in a single radio design.”
Shouldn't be an issue in Canada as I believe its all GSM here now?

According to this page, both Rogers/Bell will be using "Band 7 (2600 MHz)"
Providers in Hong Kong will be using "Band 7 (2600 MHz)", "Band 3 (1800 MHz)", and "Band 40 (2300 MHz)"
shiiiieeet eh! $799 for 32gb meh could have been worse thought I would be paying somewhere in the G range....i guess after tax will be close to 9 bills.....there goes my credit card haha
To this day, the best phone I've owned that took great pictures was an Ericsson K790:
Why don't manufacturers integrate a xenon flash like these old phones? Too bulky? Too costly?
Not sure how comparable the Nokia N82 is to that, but it's my best back up phone so far, and dat xenon flash

btw i did go to the applestore physically and ask. u can return them to the store. they will take care of the shipping.
i asked the "genius" how many phones they'd be getting and if he thinks they'll run out.
he shrugged his shoulders, looked me in the eye and said "dont know"
but not an authentic "don't know". more like "i cant say because ive been instructed not to say anything".
There was no shortage of New iPad when it came out... not sure if iPhone 5 will be like New iPad or iPhone 4.

iphone 4 never had pre-orders online so it was a gong show for lineups.
iPad is popular but doesn't compare to iPhone.
Last year there was online pre-orders but still had lineup up the butt.
I can only assume people have gotten smarter this year and most people will be pre-ordering online making flipping phones harder. That and the fact the US market seems to have unlocked iphones now.

Well Apple did praise Nokia for their unique and awesome design for the Lumias (which is the N9s design and its derived from the N8)
Especially in their lawsuit against Samsung, Apple even made a point to note how awesome Nokia worked on That design
that's why the Ipad3 and the Iphone5 has been so disappointing for people
Apple showed the Nokia in court as an example of a modern smartphone that can be unique and not infringe Apple's IP. They were making fun of Samsung and throwing Nokia/MS a bone. Apple has cross-licensing in place with Nokia and MS, so I think there's more to it than simply looking for a non-infringing competing phone to show in court.
The iPad 1, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPhone 4, and 4S were all "disappointments" if you believe the opinions of the people posting online (even on RS). And each one was a huge success exceeding the previous version. And like those 5 previous major announcments we again have the same type of comments being posted. Funny how 5 "disappointing" products can shatter sales records.

And what do you say to a company like Halliburton (for example) who did a comprehensive study of iOS and Android and decided to go with iOS to replace their Blackberries? That they are blinded by the "latest & greatest"? There are people who will always buy Apple because they like Apple no matter what they make. There are those that will never buy Apple because they hate Apple. Both are pathetic. And both are in the minority. No company could survive selling to one group or the other - most people just buy what they want or like.

Really? So we should let the thread degenerate into comments like "my phone had this in 2005"? What an amazingly relevant and helpful post to add to the discussion. Or perhaps we should let people post incorrect information (not opinions, facts) without correcting them? How does that help someone reading who may be considering plunking down some serious $$$ for a new phone?

So typical. No wonder you had an entire thread dedicated to you and your posting habits.
Seriously, why do you even bother to troll? Try to spin it any way you can, but the person initiating the garbage is the one who's bringing the thread down, not someone calling them out on it.
Tell me, are you even capable of discussing technology anymore? If I go to your blog (hardcorewhatever it's called) will I find articles about hardware, software, architectures, CPU's & GPU's? Or will I find nothing but useless opinions and memes that my kids might find funny?
Just go away. It was a light hearted jab at all the instances of copying that has been making the news lately. Anyone can see that, it was such an obvious troll that it was essentially sarcastic in nature... But for some reason you take it personally....
