I heard if you Ordered Wii u Deluxe it's pretty rare,Stores only receiving 5...at least at Eb games where a friend works.
shit even if you didn't buy one,you can upgrade the memory with an SD card,using those 32GB to 64GB cards

launch line up reviews are mediocre at best..

zombie U which is nintendo's only 3rd party big hype game got low scores.. exactly what Ubisoft did to Red Steel when the wii came out, demo looked great...... playing the game is complete crap

mario bros wiiU and nintendo land surprisingly got really good reviews.. but thats nintendo to you, quality over quantity

i dont know if its too late to post this but i made a stop at futureshop lansedowne today around 1pm, just got their shipments of wiiu

there was 11 at the futureshop inventory, they didnt say how many deluxe and regular edition was, and they limiting the purchase to one for each customer

i just hooked it up now and the update is taking forever to finish

you can only add people up if both people send in a friend request to each other... it doesnt work on one way.. its another one of nintendo's fool proof stalking protection online stuff that they are so protective about

got zombieu, mario and scribblenauts... the miiverse community is hilarious, it displays real time convos and drawings on your mii plaza

My PS3 has no friends, don't play online hahahah.

is the deluxe worth getting?

deluxe comes with nintendoland (which is a pretty fun party game, much like wiiplay and wiisports combined).. generally a really good tech demo to what the wiiu games can potentially do..

also comes with a charging cradle for the wii gamepad, its like the nintendo 3ds cradle

those are the only 2 things that benefits most people getting the deluxe

the other stuff is the E Shop promotional plan where everytime you spend $50 or more on games you get $5 in credit back.. the promotion only goes for 2 years until 2014..

the 32 gig flash memory isnt really a factor.. because wether you have the regular edition, you will still invest in an external hard drive for games


the WiiU OS is laughably slow.. just opening up the miiverse or the web browser is a 5 to 10 second wait from the home menu

also the Wii interface is built into the new console and the transition isnt seemless, you have to load up the Wii interface which takes 30 secs to load...so if you going to play Wii games on this, make sure you really play for long

Virtual Console games have to be loaded up to the Wii menu, and buying any SNES or retro games has to be done through the old Wii Shop.. .. not the new E Shop..

i know it really sounds confusing.. tried to explain it as simple as i could.. in simple words, if you plan to play Wii games on the Wiiu, it will take a total of 1 minute or so to boot up the WiiU and then load up the Wii menu

you could get it for 324.99 (deluxe) today from Futureshop during their cyber monday sale. Surprisingly had stock online for both deluxe and basic models.

ya i was surprise that stock is continously coming in.. whats funny is the best buy on marine drive which not alot of people know about, had tons of deluxe and basic versions... at least 20 consoles

then went to queensborough today and walmart was sold out while best buy there had 2 basic left..

the wiiu upconverts the wii games to 1080p.... now keep in mind this is not "upscale".. its like what xbox games look like on xbox 360.. it gives that smooth video quality as oppose to the 480ps murky and jaggy looking graphics

staples online has the 8gb for sale. Could potentially stack $20 off $150 as well as $15 off $100 to make it $265 plus taxes

I just picked mine up last Saturday. Pre-ordered the Friday before the release.

I ordered mine from EB Games at Ironwood. They told me that 11 + people before me on the wait list never showed up.

Mario is fun, and I like how my gf can be playing Mario on the tablet, and I can be using the TV playing PS3. :fullofwin:
