I don't care much for the politics of the situation. I saw the video and thought it was hilariously awful. I have sympathy for those who have been hurt and have died because of this person's tacky actions.... but I want a bigger TV, my Xbox RROD'd, and Superbowl tickets aren't cheap.

You get the point of my thread. The ridiculousness of an excessive reaction to a insignificant piece of media (similar to a cartoon in a newspaper) is met with an equally ridiculous notion.
It worries me that Redlines Daily thought I was serious...
But if he really think that my opinion (in the form of an Expendables parody) on an overzealous politician crossed a line into "shameful", I encourage him to contact the authorities because for some reason there are blasphemy laws in Canada.

this whole situation shows just how stupid people are in the world, and how stupid religion can make people (i am not saying religion is stupid, while i have no belief system, it creates a moral ground for people to follow, hopefully, which is never a bad thing.... unless those morals are stupid and make people want to kill another idiot who made some stupid fucking movie)

there was a guy being interviewed on cnn can't remember who he was
who was basically saying most of those who were up in arms viewed the situation as the US govt. was supporting a anti Islam movie (they hadn't even seen the youtube video) and given all the oppression they've felt from US foreign policy over the decades that just set them off
others who had seen the youtube clip thought it was an actual movie and movies in their countries have to be signed off by their respective state departments so again "us govt supporting anti islam movie" hatred
those interviewed also pointed out that the "riots" were actually very small and there were/are also larger protests protesting the violence of those riots but the media isn't concentrating on those since it isn't newsworthy
