I'm really digging this "rancher". Kind of in the boonies just north of Victoria, but only about a ~20 min drive to UVIC or Chinatown. Not cheap as VI is overpriced, but this looks a lot more appealing over any Vancouver special. It just sounds like a massive, loss. Like literally no one buys them. There's no real appreciation and the lot fees are crazy vs condo ownership cost. Just seems better off renting a proper home. Like who wants to say they live in a trailer park. That's worse than saying you live in Surrey. |

I was at Cypress look out last weekend and saw some van life couple cooking their dinner in their sprinter. I think something like that is doable for $50000, it's way cheaper, no monthly pad fees and you can move to the best view everyday if you're about that life. |
