For you PA people running Franco who had problems with wifi on the Apr 16 build, the Apr 26 build seems to have fixed it.

"Phone Idle" uses a lot of battery for some reason. Uses more than screen. Something is wrong with mine

sweet

although i found the battery life on stock to be more than sufficient... this will be an added bonus

feels great finally flashing a rom, i never got around to doing it on my s3 because the info overload was too much for me, i gave up every attempt to learn lol

next to do list... enable LTE

edit: if anyone has LTE on their nexus 4, gimme a shout out

So I ordered an orb through puremobile. And then I got a refund because they couldn't ship it by the time the paypal pre-order authorization ran out. And then it arrived in my mailbox yesterday.

So far, so good. My phone sticks and stays in place--possibly because I'm using the nillkin case and the rough back helps the orb grip the phone, but also possibly because the rubber on the orb itself seems to be of the semi-sticky variety. When charging my phone has gotten a wee bit warmer than it otherwise would which is hardly a surprise, and it's very easy to use while I'm at my desk without taking it off the charger due to the angle.

TL;DR: I have an orb, it was free and it works great so far.

for those with battery issues, maybe a battery pack might help.

For only $26.48 each when QTY 50+ purchased - External Battery Pack and Charger for iPadŽ, iPhoneŽ, iPodŽ, and other USB Mobile Devices (5000mAh) - Black

I'm trying to get rid of the google search bar on my phone and it doesn't seem to be working the way it use to. Before i'd just go to settings>apps>google search>disable. this would completely take away the bar. now, it just removes the function and the word google and the mic symbol. an empty grey bar is still there and immovable.

i should mention my phone is bone stock 4.2.2 as well.

Aren't you worried about having the back crack or mess up? I kind of want a bumper but I've seen threads on XDA that worry me.

There is a HALO app for those interested in a HALO like feature. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....paranoid.halo

Depending when PA Halo goes stable, I'm certain I'll switch over again.
