The Google Nexus 4 Thread Looks like the next Nexus is leaking [Update] This is the LG Nexus | Android and Me http://androidandme.com/wp-content/u...-leak-back.jpg http://androidandme.com/wp-content/u...ck-630x472.jpg |
OMG FIRST POST ZOMG COOL STORY BRO anyways... these are better pics regardless, i will hold my judgement towards LG until I see this thing in the flesh http://cdn.androidpolice.com/wp-cont...4912_thumb.jpg http://cdn.androidpolice.com/wp-cont...4969_thumb.jpg http://cdn.androidpolice.com/wp-cont...4912_thumb.jpg |

The LG version will have more square corners while the nexus version has more rounded ones. That's why there are 2 styles floating around. |
round silver edge...looks like the iphone 3G lol looks like LG wants a lawsuit with apple! |
|
I always want a Google Nexus, even though the spec is awesome, but somehow the brand is a dealbreaker. Take my cash if it is HTC or Samsung. |

What's the space underneath the soft buttons? |

i dont like the empty space/chin underneath the soft buttons of the gnex they should've made a stripe LED immediately below the screen instead of the orb...but i guess it's paying homage to the N1 trackball |
I've had some pretty terrible experiences with LG. I'm REALLY hoping that this will be the turn around but I'm just so reluctant to get burned again. |
At least with this you aren't worried about software, although I'm not too familiar with LGs build quality... When will it be Sony's turn for a nexus phone Posted via RS Mobile |
I would of thought Asus would try to enter the battle. I'll definitely get nexus from Asus. Also, shouldn't the nexus have a curved glass ? |
It doesn't have to have a curved glass. That was Samsung's implementation. Also Asus is not a big enough player in the mobile phone market for them to make a Nexus product. |
I wouldn't be so wary of LG if it were a Nexus. I mean, I don't think I'd snap it up, but I wouldn't be as :heckno: as I am now. |
More rumours.. LG Nexus 4 announcement Oct.29. Maybe there won't be multiple Nexii after all. |
Having used the Sharp SH-01D in the past (nice phone, shit software), I love the rectangular design. I know that LG haters will be quick to put this phone down complaining about build quality and software updates (LG is notorious for lack of support), but if they are partnering up with Google, shouldn't that be a thing of the past? |

Google controls updates for the Galaxy Nexus(except canada) again, judge it once u see it in the flesh. |
Yeah I'll reserve judgment till the reviews come out. I think most of the problems with previous LG products were with software which is now taken out of the equation. I'm thinking I shoulda used my HUP for the IP5 and flipped it lol. |
so far its aesthetics looks like a refined Galaxy Nexus Here's a 360 view: http://tech.onliner.by/2012/10/11/google-nexus-4 I wonder how good the ips screen will look...although the contour display will be missed (curved glass) a bit disappointed it won't use the S4 Pro...also no removable battery |
^ Those guys have a full review of the phone now with HQ photos of the device. I agree with twitchyzero, the phone looks too much like the Galaxy Nexus and not as sexy as the Optimus G. According to the review it does seem like the screen is flat and not curved like the Galaxy Nexus. Quote:
