| Any of you guys preparing for the end of the world? (mayan 2012)
I was just having a convo with a few buddies about the so-called apocalypse 12/12/12. Some of them are stocking up on food, gas and water.
Since we are a couple months away , have you guys been preparing for this?

the mayan calendar was made how many thousands of years ago?
"leap years" were introduced by julius caesar, wich are not recognized on the mayan calendar...so...over the past 2000 years...add 1 day for every 4 years...and thaaaaaaat should put us somewhere in the 2013 area already for the mayan calendar...
sorry bro...that calendars just a bunch of bullshit...

While I don't believe in the hoopla surrounding the whole 2012 thing, I had a random thought...
Everyone seems to think that the "end of the world" means some giant, cataclysmic disaster is going to unfold. But what if it means something entirely different? As far as I can understand it, the Mayans weren't predicting the end of the human race, but simply another shift. What if it's something like contact with peaceful aliens? What if someone reveals to the world that they've created a wasteless, unending power source that can run every nation in the world? What if it's actually a good change?
