The current Legacy is too bulbous. It has the proportions of the last Chrysler Sebring

Not many sports go for 37k and look as good as the accord. I have the 2011 v6, it's a very nice handling car. Only down side I hate is the throttle response.

Go to the dealership and get pre-approved financing or leasing first so you can shop and have upper hand when bargaining. If youre buying something more than your available loan theyll find out what you need to establish that amount

My sister has a 2010 Accord Coupe. Unfortunately, she had nothing but problems. Rust on the door, rust on the trunk, multiple rattles and Honda denied her warranty claims for all that. She is in the process of dumping the car.

OP, had you considered the CTS Coupe? I know it can be had BRAND NEW in the high 30s

Looks nice but it starts at $43K (coupe) and that's not even including leather seats!

How can they deny your sister the warranty if it's rusting?

Domestics have good negotiating room, usually, and lots of manufacturer rebates etc. I really like the new stuff that GM is putting out. I might actually go domestic for my next car.

The North American Legacies look absolutely like crap, and the fuel efficiency is horrific both in 2.5T and H6 trims. The wagon with the JDM/euro bumpers look infinitely better, alas none of which are available here.

The new Accord V6 I believe has the first or second best fuel efficiency in the segment. I've driven the Touring 4cylinder with manual (basically top of the line) and was pleasantly surprised by the performance and refinement. The Accord I4 is faster than the TSX I4.

depending on the trim fuel can be almost the same according to this

Gas Mileage of 2012 Honda Accord

Gas Mileage of 2012 Subaru Legacy

but yeah the accord is more efficient

They denied the warranty claim because the dealer insisted that the damage was from road debris. We went to three other dealerships and they all denied the claim. Pretty poor quality for a two year old car with 8k kilometers. She also had a problem with the doors sagging and a loud clunk. Those two were addressed but it is happening again. I guess she got a lemon. The dealers here(Toronto) were also quite rude to her and the customer service went out the window after she bought the car.

And as for the CTS Coupe, you are correct. I totally forgot about that.
My sister was quoted the following after negotiations:
CTS 1SB Package --- 43k------> $38,955
CTS 1SF Package --- 49k------>$42,405
1SF Package Includes:
Front Reclining Buckets Seats (details)
Engine: 3.6L V6 VVT SIDI
Transmission: 6 Speed Automatic (details)
Tires: P235/50R18 Fr P265/45R18 Rr V-Rated AS BW
Wheels: 18" x 8.5" Aluminum (details)
Radio: AM/FM Stereo w/CD/DVD Player/MP3 (details)
Xenon High Intensity Discharge (HID) Lighting (details)
Leather Seating Package w/1SF/1SH (details)

^Diggin the Tiger Eye Pearl, too bad the only interior we can get w/ that colour is the black/ivory combo. Full black like the US one would be nice.

It doesn't look too bad in these pics. Can't wait to see one in person. I'm pretty jelly about the new interior/features

Yes, it is.....
Even though I could get something "better" for that amount of money in the used market, I have my eye set on an Accord Coupe right now.

For once the Canadian market gets something that the American market won't get.

The Accord Sedan in the touring trim with a 4 cylinder 6 speed manual transmission

I'm so jealous. I want the 9th gen now!

The 8th gen sedan is very classy. The 9th gen sedan looks as nice as the coupe.

2013 Honda Accord HFP Coupe

Looks pretty good minus the two-tone interior

I still prefer the Sedan

Spoiler!

I was always a fan of the previous generation coupes. I was about to buy one myself. When the pics for the 2013 Accord Coupes came out, I just thought it was flat out terrible. I have never seen it in person but I will probably check it out soon.

Harmony Honda in Kelowna charges no documentation fee.
Bit of a drive, but that's like a $500 savings as some dealership rip u off w/ doc fees

What the hell. The interior looks great on the newer generation, but I think I prefer the older generation coupe more. Those back lights are a hit or miss for me.

Overall looks pretty decent and impressive.
If someone drives with Jeans, the seats need to steam clean really hard. I don't like the Ivory interior. Maybe custom black fabricate or suede is a package from Honda?!!!
