At this point I take it as a compliment, but I like to give them a little bit of grief by showing them my wedding ring and asking how many 18 year olds they know who are married.
Me too .... same age and some ppl still ID me LOL...In return, I always ask them, "how old do I look like?" ... they pause and think...umm...22-24? hahah...nope, into my 30s...and they dont believe. Yah, they see my ring too...but its not enough to believe. Sometimes, I think...I'm older than you son...
Went to vegas and at the pool bar, I went to grab drinks with a 24 and 26 year old white girls (my friend's friend) who are taller than me. And when we all ordered our drinks, the mexican bartender asked for my ID only (laugh at self)...so I showed him, my 2 girl-friends said aloud, "He's the oldest one here, silly!" I burst out laughing...

I'm 36 and get ID'd from time to time. I hate it when I've left my DL in my car and have to go out and get it. I'm fat balding and stink I dont know how I get laid but somehow some people are stupid enough to think I might be under age lol.

in restaurants im always happy to present my ID since im an adult, and in liquor stores and corner stores i always just pull the damn thing out before they even ask. makes everyones life easier. they appreciate it and i dont have to stand there waiting for them to relluctantly ask. whats the huge deal or hassle about showing your ID anyway that people make such a fuss about it? i really dont get it.

I was going to suggest that our prohibition laws for alcohol are ancient and pathetic, then I remembered that this city is notorious for drunken destruction, car crashes, and general dissidence when it comes to alcohol. Is there anything that can help this? I honestly have no problem with kids being restricted from drinking before 18. It might be fun, but so many terrible mistakes happen when you're too young to know what you are doing with certain substances. Not too long ago a bunch of drunk 16 year olds in my hometown died in a car accident. It's not like it's going to take that long to card someone, and if they don't have an id then don't give it to them. I think blame should also be put on the kids as well. If they think they can simply get away with it because of an employees understanding of the situation then they should receive some sort of punishment(besides a hangover). Just like the prostitution laws. Although I'm not well red up on them, is it illegal to pay a prostitute or to be a prostitute?

^it's illegal to SOLICIT but PROSTITUTION is legal.

So basically you can sell your body but you can't communicate about the business.

I find it rather amusing how pretty much all of Asia has incredibly slack drinking laws, you can drink in public, drink in the park, drink at the beach. Alcohol is a plenty at your neighborhood 7-Eleven, and for dirt cheap! They even sell beer from VENDING MACHINES for crying out loud, do you think the machines check your ID?

Yet there isn't this rampant problem of shit-starters, random fights or crazy car crashes there. When I got rip-roaring drunk in Japan sipping Sake under a Cherry Blossom Tree in the public park, everyone was so friendly! Must be a culture thing...

When people admit to the fact that they shouldn't've been acting like retards, society is more orderly.

When people say "What's the big deal man, I was only having a little fucking fun with my buddies, why you gotta get all pissed?", consuming alcohol in public should be illegal.

Gotta stop the idiots from hurting us.
